Join us as we watch Iron Horse Aviation's pair of MD-500 helicopters perform an impressive demo. This iconic helicopter is extremely versatile, and this demo only shows a fraction of its capabilities!
While not as Iconic as the Heuy this helicopter has a very distinct sound. It also has an Iconic nickname "The Killer Egg", this helicopter got its nickname because the fuselage looks like an egg. This is the civilian variant of the military MH-6 Little Bird still in use today. My favorite of these two heli's is the stealthy-looking black and red. I hope to see these guys in 2025 at the Quad Cities Airshow!

I was at the right place and time in 1997 doing training at a remote location in Nevada when I watched off in the distance a couple of F-22s doing simulated dog fights. Up until that day I had never seen any aircraft maneuver and fly like that. At the time I described to colleagues that it looked like moths swarming around a bright light. Very nimble, agile and fast. Still an amazing piece of aircraft. The SR-71 was also one of those eye opening aircraft.

For one time I would like to see the non professional camera operator back the damn camera off so you can see the prospective surroundings. When you have it up close, you really can't see what the jet is doing. Back the damn thing off of get someone that knows how to film do the job.
I film very professionally and I also shoot for more short form content. I'm slowly getting into that type of filming as well! Thanks for the feedback!

They were a common sight in the UK at one time. I live near RAF Wittering, where they were based and saw them every day.There is still a Harrier gate guard on the entrance to RAF Wittering and can be seen from the A1 road.

Thank you for sharing this! I got to work with Lt Col Marks during a training exercise as a TACP. He was one of the most professional A10 Pilots I've worked with. My previous boss had told me about his Desert Storm accolades prior to me going into my first debrief with Lt Col Marks, it was kinda hard to not be intimidated but his professionalism drove it to be a really great learning experience on my behalf.
