With so many things upgraded on this and the EX, I wonder why they never made thrust vectoring one of those upgrades. I know it’s a missile truck, but they also thought the F-4 wouldn’t need a gun until the pilots told them that relying on missiles isn’t enough. I’m sure it’s more complex than it seems to my non-engineer mind. I just figured if they’ve gone to full fly-by-wire, the computers will assist with the flying part. The F-16 and F-117 are inherently unstable, yet the computer makes them flyable. It would be cool, though.

Despite the F-22's capabilities it's only been in service since 2005 and its replacement is already in the works with the NGAD estimated to arrive in 2030. The Eagle has been in service for nearly half a century and is still going strong. Its only replacement over that time has been itself with updates, the latest being the F-15 EX. IMHO that's right up there with the B-52, the Browning M-2 .50 cal machine gun, and AK-47 for most successful platforms of all time.

I understand pilots do some thorough inspecting when they first approach their aircraft on the line but I can't help but laugh when thinking that they're just saying to themselves, "Hmm. Yes. This is an airplane."

The Eagle will remain a staple of air power for decades to come. Even if it isn't exactly capable of surviving a high threat density environment by itself, unlike F-22/F-35, the new F-15EX/QA is probably the best air-to-air linebacker the USAF has on the books. High performance, advanced sensors, long range, and an absolutely insane payload of any munition you could ask for. The F-22's and F-35's will suppress any air defense or fighters in the area, prepping the F-15's in back to lay waste to their respective targets, using data fed to them by the 5th gens in the vanguard. A truly terrifying combo. The adversaries of the US should tread carefully, lest they feel the Eagles rath.

I like the paint job.I think the two pilot concept can make it a more lethal platform to cut down on pilot workload.I know it`s more expensive to keep two people for the one platform but until AI gets really good I think it`s worthwhile.

Gotta love how these are only for demos and airshows and never ever for any kind of combat or even deployment and americans are easily convinced it is the best "fighter" ever....🤷🤣 the only time it ever fired in anger was against your own nasa balloon that appeared over Palestine Ohio and was called "Chinese"

F-15 silent eagle is 5th generation first flight in 2009 after was cancelled 2011.. countries popular choose F-35 Lighting II over F-15 silent eagle..

I love the F-15 Eagle. However, this video of a "flight demo" it is not. This video shows a beautiful aircraft, but doesn't show much its' capabilities. In fact, the aircraft spends more time on the ground than it does in the air. Not much of a "demo," in my opinion.
