@@myszaca As far as I know, on all modes ? The display shows, " NB ", but pushing the , " Function " button only turns off the NB ?

Sprawdzałem to kiedyś z Kp-o mikrofonem z drugim operatorem w domu. Czasu mi brakuje na videa haha wiec zrobiłem najlepszą symulacje jaką mogłem. Pozdrawiam i może do usłyszenia w eterze. 73's

The new program 2.05 does not have a 15m band. 2.02 has.

@@agramcroatia4185 that's incorrect. The software requires you to read your radio first. Only then does a software know whether 21 MHz is enabled in your radio or not. At that point you can then use the software to edit 21 MHz.

So if the firmware file gets overwritten, I can unpack the zip folder that was downloaded from Anytone and start fresh with another new radio, for example, if I had to update my friend's radio. Is that the correct analogy?

Digimic is good but channel buttons will not work so I use digimic with CRT 9900 which is same as 6666 not pro version. I like KPO allot, Got both versions echo and regular from Scott's Radios. Got 4 of them 😄. 73

well give me some time and I get KPO and Stock microphone and test on AM for you. I like KPO the way they sound. Clean and strong modulation 73's

@@myszaca Apparently those radios can really talk, I think they can even do Negative Peak Compression although I am not sure NPC sounds that great. BTW did open that up for 15? Pretty crazy radio. I hope they make some HF for the lower part of the band.

@@Bones469 yeah its open for 15. I will test both microphones with that setting on AM, I think there is one for AM that has normal setting and some little bit more agressive one, forgot abbreviation for it 🤣 . 73's

@@jgmopar I do like KPO quiet a bit. Digimike sounds good also. I run Digimike with crt and 6666. Channel buttons will not work with 6666 pro so In that case KPO is the way to go for me. 73's.

I think I am skipping better with it then without it but its hard to prove anything with any measurable device and make video. Still trying to figure out which ine is better this one or oryginal Solarcon groundplane.

Yes. I did actually buy one from solarcon and I used that aluminum ring from the kit and I attached my treaded rods to it. Hard to tell if it makes any difference or not. I did see small difference with swr chnage when I completely isolated antenna from the mast. All my friends from Europe telling me that when they use 1/2 wave with ground planes antenna has to be isolated from must and groundplane has to be 90 degree. Bs or snake oil I have no clue. Didn't do to much digin in. One of this days when I catch up with my house projects I make video with both 90 and 45 degree ground plane and measure values with antenna analyzer. How's going up there, Any projects. Skip is really low in my area.

@@myszaca it’s going well up here this summer. I’ll head back to AZ mid September. Conditions this summer pretty much suck 😂 yesterday I had a pipeline to HI & Jamaica and that was it all day long ! ground plane is about ERP not SWR. It should assist in reaching out more effectively. There’s some interesting uTube videos regarding ERP and ground plane function out there. After using one on my Antron 99 for a while I ordered a gpkt for my Max 2000 as well that I’ll add when I return home this fall. I’ll try it both ways, but I suspect it’ll help. Videos I’ve seen indicate that radials should be roughly 135 degrees droop from vertical for maximum efficiency. It’s all speculative, but there’s guys a lot smarter than me voicing some very educated & experienced opinions. I’ve seen some videos indicating radials should be 1/4 wave length long ?
