About the weird classmates that can't grasp the rhytm of the class while speaking together. Don't be afraid to ask your teacher to talk to them, and ask them not to talk at the same time as her/him or trying to show off. You don't want to make the mood bad, and I understand why you'd not want to say it directly, but if nobody ever says anything, nothing's going to change. -but hopefully they've grasped that they are distrubing by now, since it's been a couple weeks. If not I'd really really recommend just telling the teacher to tell them, or tell them yourself. I'm also kind of confrontation shy, so I'd probably also just not do anything though, but I'd really hope you would do it!

The language school situation sounds annoying. But I also feel like the gap between beginner and intermediate can feel wide even when you’re considered intermediate. Since you like sweet potato a place that I spent nearly an hour looking for after I went to it the first time is called 高級芋菓子しみず 下北沢店, in Shimokitazawa. I only tried their small cupcake looking item but after I finished it I went back and favorited it on google maps. It’s a sweet potato dedicated dessert place. Highly recommend

Normally in your apartment should have a paper sign somewhere show you where to trash different types of garbage. Quick hack, you can actually trash it in the combini. They usually have it sorted by bin types already.
