Ich hab einen 3 Jahre alten Basset Sherlock Holmes. Ihm mußten noch nie die Nägel gekürzt werden🤔. Gehen Eure Hunde wenig spazieren? Allein der Abrieb vom Asphalt und hartem Waldboden kürzen die Nägel. Sherlock ist 2x tägl ca 2 Stunden unterwegs in Wald und Feld. Ich kenne das von keinem meiner Hunde.😊🐕🐩❤️❤️🐕

He is gorgeous. No dog has a more beautiful face than a basset hound. He looks like my Junie.

My Basset sheds all year around. Our house has shed hair everywhere and never mind trying to wear dark clothing without using a lint roller to get the fur off. Bassets are very food oriented and he will steal any food he can find. Bassets are nearly impossible to make angry. Ours is an escape artist, especially with there are bitches in the neighborhood. I love Bassets and would not want another breed. I have owned Silky terriers and dachshunds.

Such a handsome hound. I've never had a basset but my beagle was pretty similar. He especially hated anyone touching his front legs. The nails at his hind legs were easier to cut.

Our boy Hudson has to be fully sedated - he struggled so much that he made his nose bleed…… Now he gets walked 3kms per day in the park and this keeps his nails short.

Someone called me to tell me there was a video of Frank and Clyde. We were so excited as have been hoping they are doing well because we have not seen them in a long while. It looks like they are great and so happy to see them!! This made our day!!

Hi Frank so good to see you & your little brother Clyde, it’s been awhile. Both looking very handsome. I two now have a second basset his name is Walter , a little brother for my first basset Webster , it’s taken about 1 year for them to be good friends , but they are happy now 😀. Hope to see you Frank & Clyde again soon 🐾🐾
