Do you have any interest in older Vespas? I bought a 1959-60 Allstate Vespa, 125ccc,...."a barn find", in 1999, hoping to restore it. I ran out of money and only had the body fixed, & repainted. It was a filthy wreck, when I got from a flea market, junk swap meet, north of Columbus, in some small town. I'd like to sell it,....I'm old,....I just turned 70 last month. Sadly, my scootering days are behind me.

Very Cool. I rode my 1985 Honda 150cc Elite, scooter, that I bought brand new in in 1985, for 33 years. I covered 14,500 miles within the city of Columbus, Ohio, on it. Columbus is almost completely flat, and in 1985 the city was still mostly undeveloped. Their industries had long ended, in the early 1960s, which meant there were many abandoned factory zones. Columbus used to manufacture, (old fashioned) buggies,.... otherwise known as (horse drawn) carriages. There were other industries. One manufactured railroad car wheels and axles, and the national company CASE,....which made farm equipment, had a division in Columbus, too. I would explore the in-town factory zones, where the buggy works, had once stood. Back then we only had film cameras, and I could kick myself for not documenting, all the cool old buildings. When Google invented Google Street View, there were still many old buildings, standing, and I took screen shots. I'm glad I did, because since then, not one old building is still standing, and they have all been torn down and replaced with modern buildings. I love your video explorations of the covered bridges. I wish GoPro or other recording devices had existed in the 1980s. Scooters could go anywhere, and I did. The Factory zones were never chained off, and they were ripe for exploration.

Something similar happened to me the other day. I was ridding home with my girlfriend on back. Following friend home. He does deliveries for pizza place. I bought pizza from his shop. It's in area I know but not so well. I'm on px221 with very good lighting. My friend rides road everyday 50 times. He on 150cc big boy. Zip and he gone so I speed up to catch him and next moment there fork and to me looked like payment but it was painted lines. I shat my self and pulled to the right. 😮 ridding in dark can be dangerous even if you have 55w led light. Nearly thought I was going to smash scooter and end up in hospital. 😢
