This is a comfort video for me- whenever I have nothing else to watch I come to this video specifically. It's so entertaining, yet calm! I dunno, thought I'd share that. Venba is such a nice game, and you make very good gameplay.

I come from a Persian immigrant family and here, I never really experienced the disconnect between my family's culture and the western culture. A lot of the kids in my generation in my country are also immigrants, so there never was an issue with food or different cultures when I grew up. It was pretty fun exchanging lunches from all around the world basically, it made me appreciate food so much more as is. Teach your kids to understand and be aware of different backgrounds. There simply is no 'one way' or 'one culture'. Kavin went through all this because of the assimilation needed to survive the ignorant and uninclusive surroundings/ kids that called him 'little india'. Things are getting better, but not every kid is as lucky as I was. To be inclusive means making everyone feel like they belong.

It's a beautiful game. Ik how Venba & Paavalan been through, not only as my own experience but also my parents; we are immigrants in U.S. Even if it's been 5 years of my family staying here it's hard to adapt to this new lifestyle. English is not a problem for me, my dad is English teacher before i was born. The hard thing is find a good job, keeping up with the college classes, my goals as artist. Sometimes i do miss home, but ik it's part of life having a new start. I'm not ashamed of my culture, i like it. Tho people of my age doesn't understand me or thing im weird, i don't care, I'm proud of my language, my culture, the music, the food, and all that's part of me 🩷 (Si preguntan mi lengua materna es Español y domino el inglés desde que tengo 7 años).
