Hello i cant fix it, i try different senzor snd pcb inverter too, sometimes work but most times no:( i not found any bad cable :( how it can be found ?

Wish I'd seen this before buying my Surface Pro 7. Absolute Shit Quality for a premium price. Will NEVER, EVER buy ANY Microsoft Hardware as long as I draw breath

My Surface Pro 4 had screen flicker. I replaced it with a Surface Pro 7 and no wthat's flickering too. I've not even used it that much.

You're a hero! Wasn't exactly the same on my washer, but a wire to the MEMS sensor broke right near the sensor itself. Spliced it back together and it works again! This video saved me multiple hundreds of dollars. Thanks!

This video shows how to identify the problem but doesn't explain the fix. However, it does show some helpful preventative tips. If the wires were damaged, did they need to be replaced? Or was it just the jacket, easily fixed with electrical tape?

I bought a Surface 9 Pro and screen flickers when the keyboard is connected and device is idle only, nobody knows what's the issue its very funny

Amazing video! I enjoyed watching. The choice of music was perfect and editing is superb! You are good!!! I especially liked the perspective effects at 25:10 and zooming into the sun when the bike was stopped a few time is also a nice touch. The stats at the end with the ambient noise at night is a great idea. Heat was up to 37 degrees, wow! And you crossed the border twice, cool! It would be a good idea to make short videos of small villages where you stopped when there were plants in boots, cooking pans drying outside etc. I enjoyed these parts the most. You all must have had body pain the next morning 😅 Thanks for sharing...

Same thing happened to me! It was a replacement for the 4 with the same issue. Less than a year old, it started to happen on the day before the warranty ended! But what does it matter when they will give a used product if it’s a hardware issue and now I have to go through the trouble of backing everything up in order to factory reset, something I didn’t even manage for my 4. And they expect you to come up with your own packaging to ship it to them!! Do they insure for physical damage!? I doubt it! Will they blame any physical shipping damage on me!? Probably! And then to top it off, it’s the only computer I own and I will be without it for who knows how long, and then they will send me a refurbished pos that will eventually get the same flickering issue! (They always do) Microsoft should not have warranty time limits for hardware issues! And they should offer: NEW product or direct refund from Microsoft, since they are the ones responsible for the hardware issue, not the stores or the buyers. Microsoft is insane, their support is outsourced, there is only ONE open store all the way in NY to speak to someone in person. Is there a petition for them to be held responsible!? I would sign it. People spend their hard earned money on this or the only money they have, this is unacceptable. This is one of the only nice pieces of technology I own, and they don’t care to honor the deal!

I've just had exactly the same issue. The sharp edge of the frame had sliced its way through the sleeving and into one of the cores of the harness. Easy repair, now working fine. Thanks for the video.

My washer auto turn off when it spin. can turn on again with unplug electric cable and wait 1-2 minute. some times it recall last program, some times must restart from begining. cross in my mind, maybe vib sensor problem.. never though cable problem. i will chek for cable, thanks for video.

im really disgusted. I had a pro 4, then i had screen jumping right after the warranty expired and i got an extended warranty... not just the one year. Today, my newer SP7 that I got to replace my 4 started flickering. today is the 18th, the warranty expired on the 14th... im not saying this shit is planned, but im wondering how much of a coincidence this is....

Same Problem, screen flickering. They also want me to send it but it is not a new product. What did you do to help ease this flickering issue as I'm not comfortable sending this to them for further diagnostics and possible replacement?

Thanks for the post- fixed my issue. I have the same machine and exact same problem. After going in and isolating the wires that were shorting out due to cut in plastic from factory metal edge - it was a clean cut right in same exact place- It fixed my machine and now working again... I also put plyers on the metal edge and bent it down and zip tied up the wire bundle. \ fix was easy to do and took less than 30 min.

Hello Daniel, Thank-you for your tip. This is the exact problem I just had on my 2016 washer WW22K6800AW/A2. I was able to reroute the wire towards the vibration sensor, there is a space for the cable to exit the board towards to sensor. Didn't even have to disconnect the cable. So I guess it is more of an assembly error and not a design error. Did not have to open the front of the unit. Was able to do the repair from the open top panel of the washer.

My microsoft surface pro 7 after using one week from the first use, screen completely blacked out. Worse unit ever experienced.

I got the pro 7 as a present, and I was so happy fir a newer faster computer, then the screen starts flickering, we get it replaced from another brand new computer, and it just started flickering again..

I'm so disappointed, i wish i knew this sooner before i purchased it. I had replacement for 3 times now and the issue still the same. How could they do this? I'm just a student and i bought mine with loan installment. I thought it was a good investment for long term, i should have just bought other laptop. I don't know what to do with mine now, it's literally keep on flickering. Thinking on buying other affordable laptop but remembering how tough I've paid for 2 years installment. So dissapointed, I'll never buy anything from Microsoft company ever again.

GO TO INTEL GRAPHICS COMMANDER on the Microsoft app store AND DISABLE "DISPLAY POWER SAVINGS" under 'System" -> and "Power".... I SAW THIS ON REDDIT and so far its worked

Lol. It's not "a simple fix" if you have to disconnect the whole machine and then cut wires and junk. That's not "a simple fix" and it doesn't cost a ton of money but to disconnect everything is crazy just to fix a broken wire. Samsung sucks.

I'm getting the same crap answer from Microsoft. Their hardware can't even hold up and they don't stand by their products. I had a SP4 and the screen started delaminating because the battery was expanding. Their answer to that was "TOO BAD." I am starting to regret my SP7. The thing is only a few months old and the screen flickering is driving me nuts. They want to give me a refurbished machine too. I didn't drop $2000 on a computer to be handed some refurbished replacement.

Crap to hear MS did not learned anything . Seems for me the same as they did with surface pro 4. But now with the additional need to buy the surface pen and windows pro license cause its not included anymore. Btw. had also with surface pro 4 the worst experience i ve ever had with any tech device... Back than it was one pro 4 exchange per one week.... for a certain amount of time. Sweared myself never ever again... But now wanted to give it another chance and buy the pro 7 cause its in offer and thought in 3-4 years something has changed to the better. But with that heard, I ll do a damm to buy the pro 7. Seems like nothing has changed or at least said it feels like it changed even to the worse seen as complete package what you'll get for your money compared to back in the days when the pro 4 was the flagship. So probably go with an alternative.

Thanks for your review and voice, Daniel. I'm fully agreed with you! How can they send a refurbished unit when the brand new unit has issues? My company has gone through the replacement process for multiple Surface Pro units (at least 3 units so far). Even the replacement unit (either refurbished or new) still has the screen flickering issue!! And we called them for a replacement again... That's their only solution to address the REPEATING ISSUES... No troubleshooting capability at all, all relayed on courier man and call center servicing you. VERY DISAPPOINTING MICROSOFT!
