Adrenaline Combatives is a Reality Based Martial Method.
It is no sport, nor martial arts, it is a concept and principle driven set of skills, informations, tactics & strategies that has been and continues to be adapted to the reality of modern urban violence and that teaches lethal and non-lethal applications as a tool in order to deal with anti-social and criminal violence and to prepare the average person on a psychological, emotional and physical level to face extreme violence and possibly the worst case scenario.
Adrenaline Combatives teaches all the physical and non-physical elements to deal with violence. The cultivation of a predatory & combative mindset is the very foundation in Combatives, the emotional software must be operational in order for the physical hardware to be functional, in other words, getting your head right is crucial since everything begins and ends with the right mentality.

Keeping your ego in check - What it truly means - Julien Masson
What it truly means to keep your ego in check!
First of all, it means doing some research in order to understand what “ego” truly is or isn’t.
It means being an empathetic being and doing your best to try and understand those that are easily misunderstood.
It means loving others unconditionally even if you don’t always agree with the choice they make.
It means being kind to those that are suffering and trying to understand them by putting yourself in their shoes for a moment (that’s called Empathy!)
It means not judging others before you took a good look at yourself first by realizing that you are far from being perfect either and that you still have a long road ahead yourself.
It means not feeling jealous towards certain people and lashing out at them directly or indirectly because of that.
It means not only being humble to those that you feel are superior than you in a particular field (when you don’t have the choice) but it means being humble with everyone including those that you view as inferior than you in that same particular field.
In other words, don’t only be kind to those that can kick your arse but be kind to those you think you can beat also.
It means being able to manage your emotional triggers and responses before you react harshly.
It means being able to hear the voice of your ego in your head but to consciously choose to get another, more mature response out in order to avoid stepping in your ego.
It means being careful about what you say and do to others because everyone is different and what you say or do could harm them.
It means being able to look back at what you said or done and to recognize and admit when you took it too far and ended up hurting others as a result of it.
It’s means learning to be the bigger man and to apologize when you hurt someone with your words and or actions.
It’s means learning to forgive by understanding that forgiveness is an attribute of the strong.
It means not seeing enemies everywhere you look because that is really unhealthy.
It means being nice to people even if they disagree with you.
It means not thinking that you are better than anyone else.
It means taking a good look within to do the shadow work.
It mean applying all this wisdom in real life and not just making videos about ego that are designed to attack those you consciously or unconsciously see as a threat in order to make you feel good about yourself.
It means doing good deeds and or speaking good words of wisdom even when no one is watching and not only when you have a crowd to applaud you.
It means not being a double standards person by believing that you are special and that you are therefore allowed to do what you forbid others to do with you.
It means being just and fair.
It means loving yourself and others unconditionally.
I could go on and on but those thing are in my humble opinion a big aspect of what it takes to be really careful not to think, speak or act out of ego.
It means giving people a chance by truly understanding that they deserve it.
It means understanding bullying in all its forms and avoiding taking part in it.
Don’t be a bully!

A bit of Lethwei for my students - Julien Masson - Adrenaline Combatives

Here is some extracts of yesterday’s seminar. Everyone did well and I saw a lot of progress from everyone so as an instructor I say: “Mission Accomplished!” The topic of the day was head butting so we explored principles from Lethwei Burmese Boxing and added some combative concepts from Combatives. We kept it simple and built a few combos where we implemented the head butt in the most realistic...

The Importance of Learning to Use Weapons of Opportunity in Life-or-Death Situations. Firstly there is a need to understand what constitutes a deadly threat and then adapt our response in terms of use of force. Your OODA Loop will never be as fast as the assailant holding a blade. Doing a bit with my mate Adam today. As we always do, we’ve had a look at street applications using combat sports. I love this format, wisdom and lengtht! Can't wait more episodes. Shared and liked! PS: don't care about Virtue Signallers. Take care!!!
I have no instructor that they teaching what you teach .. we have traditional martial arts and combat sports
What the difference between martial arts and combatives and rbsd and Which category does the art and philosophy of jkd belong to?
This is highly effective! But you have to train it a lot like he does. You can tell he’s drilled this 1000 times.
I'll give it a go, but I'll have my Mother in law hold on to the Tonfa. Thanks
Hi what the difference between modern self protection approche and jkd approche
What about sparring work

@@richard-ij2fm I wouldn’t go that far. Life is meant to be lived. Can’t always be 100% on the ball but you can do your best to follow your instinct.

It surely will be. 🙂 Thank you sir!
Best podcast ever
Cheers mate, I enjoyed it too!
Done this today at the gym done this sort of milling for 10 secconds 5 times. And I can tell you it a lot harder then I looks. Most punchs are mostly deflected with 4 arms flying at each other. If your new to combat sports and your worried about sparring or your fight, I'd deffinatly add this into training. Makes your mind face the fire lot more 👍
Excellent 👍🏼
