See the title! Griffin and Anka are feather duster budgies, which is a mutation where the feathers keep growing and growing. Unfortunately this puts a strain on them and as a result they don't live very long. These guys were not a planned result, however as with all my pets, I strive for them to have the best life possible, so won't be giving up on them too easily. Please check out my Patreon.

This is Fizz. Fizz was a little kitten that was found abandoned in someone's garage and handed into the clinic I worked at. So I fostered him and rehomed him when he was old enough. :3

Hi, great video! I have spangle budgie...or at least I think. He does not have dark or black edges on the wings but instead yellow wings with green edges. Is it still spangle or how is this called? Thank you.

I am told that English Budgies have much shorter life spans that regular budgies. Is that true and if so could you talk about why? I've been told everything from 3 years to 7 years and as far as a breeding life from 2 years to 5 years. These were breeders so I wonder if they could be experiencing very different things because of the bloodlines they have. Thank you.

Hi. One interesting subject would be how to choose the right birds for breeding depending what you want to achieve, for example how to breed for a certain color or shape. Your tcb is one good example I think.

Do you show your budgies? How common are the feather dusters? I know you'll give them the best chance possible.
I do show them! Feather dusters aren't that common. I've been breeding for over 14 years and this is first pair I've ever had.
