With inboards i would suggest to everyone just to put money on the side in case something breaks. I try to be very pro active and replace things before it breaks. Gorgeous boat.

m52 seems like a more budget friendly swap, than a s52 where you basically have a m3 with 325i suspension

The first thing you have to do when you buy a used boat is go through it and fix everything the past owners butchered. I bought a nice boat that somehow stayed nice even though the last owner was a total hack. I found all the bilge pump wires cut. The engine overheat alarm wires cut and when I tested everything they all worked fine. No idea why he cut the wires. Instead of replacing the original cooler mounts the guy removed them and drilled holes in the deck to mount two metal L brackets to hold a regular wheeled cooler. I bought all the original cooler mounts and cooler for less than $150.00. Now it looks original not butched.

Getting spark and engine starts with starting fluid. I have Fuel pressure at the fuel rail. It seems like the injectors aren’t firing. Checked the connection under the intake and it looks good and is hooked up. Any ideas?

I applaud you for doing a no nonsense vid on this topic. Most others show removing the mount bracket which will cause the slide pins for calipers not to be lubed or found corroded which promotes pad drag, main cause of pad wear and wasted fuel. Also I would mention after all pads are installed and pedal not pushed turkey baster all fluid out of reservoir and replace to the old line with DOT 3 from a sealed container. Refreshes the entire system

I know these issues are a pain but atleast now you have a piece of mind everything is good to go

It’s a nice unit had a problem with mine at first screen bottom was unresponsive but Amazon shipped me a new one now everything works perfect. Now apps you can’t do Netflix or TH-cam tv on the video shows not supported for this tablet CarPlay Bluetooth works great . I can’t stand that podofo guy so I turned him off in settings. prime Video works ok also TH-cam seriosxm great it’s a great buy but rest assured your going to spend a lot of time learning what and what not you can do. My screen mirrior works fine it’s in zlinks . Thanks for the tip on downloading a picture thru email looking forward to download outlook tomorrow it was a fun deal putting it in my Jeep . Seeya

This is not a winterization video, You forgot to do some of the most important steps when winterizing your boat! Your friends may work at a marina but I’m thinking that they only pump gas, At the very least you should let people know that there is much more to winterizing your boat than what you showed in this video!

How is the sound quality

Does anyone have the problem that when they start the engine there is no sound and the unit needs a reset?

I have the same exact car 2004 530. I she’s been so reliable. Only thing that’s driving me bananas after watching the video and looking up other interior photos of the 60 is I don’t have the little cubbyhole below the DVD player. It’s just a solid chunk.
