Compared with crush80, which one is better

Linears are marginally better for gaming but significantly worse for typing, at least for me - I can't tell if a linear key registers unless I pound the crap out of it. I'm definitely glad these keyboards came with clicky switches. it matches the "retro" appeal as well, since people primarily used keyboards for typing

I'm glad they seem to be selling keycaps including 100% sets, might need to get some of those because the designs are pretty neat

pretty much the ONLY selling point for this mouse is being able to swap out the keycaps, and its pretty obvious that the creators want you to think that you can hotswap whatever mechanical keycaps you want (until you buy it at least and learn that you need to use their own special keycaps). people defending this mouse just spent $70 on an "aesthetic" hipster chunk of plastic with no other features. I prefer things that actually have functional value, not just look so quirky and "retro"

1, stop complaining about the keys it looks just ignorant on your part. Obviously it’s going to be mouse switches keyboard switches are too squishy for a mouse, it’d be horrible to use. 2, I know not a single souls who gives a shit if their mouse wheel tilts. It’s a nothing sandwich of a feature. 3, the extra switch on the left click is clearly there for support. If it wasn’t their pressing lower down on the left key cap would constantly pop it out.

Nice vid mate. I know it's been said, but the not clicky switch thing was a little odd when the most iconic and still-popular retro switches are clicky. Maybe clarify that when you say people hate clicky switches, they're referring to clickjacket switches (even then, really just the blue style ones-blackberries and phoenixes have their fair share of fans). I don’t think anyone really has an issue with other clickies other than volume, but it's not the pain that is listening to blues Funny enough, my entry into mechs was delayed by years because someone gave me an old keyboard to try with blues, and it was so bad I dropped the idea of mechanical keyboards entirely for years

I wanted this product to be good so bad because it looks so good and would fit my retro PC build. But sadly after reading and watching some reviews, it seems that it's not that suitable for gaming 😕

What do you think the Lucky65 V2? I like its promising improvements and based on various people sharing it on r/mechanicalkeyboards, its not as bad as V1 in terms of latency and connection stability

If you need to completely mod a keyboard just to suit oyur prefernces then just assemble one and skip wasting money on such needless mods.

IDK if im just very particular about stuff but i personally dislike tactiles the most, it's like they're trying to emulate the crisp and wonderful feeling of a clicky switch but also emulating the silence of a linear. And the result being hell

Guys, I feel like a loser, but what does he mean when he talks about "hot spots" while using the RBG?

I have the commodore 64 version of this keyboard and it's easily the best keyboard I've ever owned. Is it loud? Hell yeah. I'm not great at typing in general and this keyboard easily improves my typing. The C64 version has scooped keys and makes typing both easy and comfortable.

Imagine how unpractical and unsatisfying if it actually used keyboard switches. It would be extremely disadvantageous to play games with it, and incredibly weird to do anything a mouse is supposed to do

Just came across this review as I was interested in the mouse, and I think complaining about how the scroll wheel doesn't tilt is moronic. I've been using mice with a scroll wheel tilt function for several years and i have yet to find a way to use them at all. I always forget about this feature because there's no action i would ever want to use it for.

Hopefully someone will make a better version of this, love the retro look

I understand that linears are the hip thing now but really clicky switches were pretty standard not that long ago.

I genuinely think you need a new mic (not being a dick just here to try and help) I compared my black diamond 75 advanced (forged carbon) and compared to what yours sounds (through the mic) like they are night and day different (talking stock keycaps and stock switches) I think the mic isn’t picking up the most natural sound, I even tried similar keycaps just to double check (not triple shot I wish) but yeah man I could be wrong but just thought I’d let you know bro, great video and keep up the great work man, I love this keyboard, fr such a good value compared to my 2 gmmk pros lmao

Nice build. I recently purchased one myself. It is my first ergo layout so I am still getting used to it but for what you get for the price it is definitely worth it imo

lol that’s so strange. I think it’s pretty common knowledge that hmx is known for its high pitched clacky sound so idk why there was a warning put.
