Its sad.. I think the mom truly thought she was in the right because that was the way she grew up. I'm 48 and I can remember male teachers hitting and roughing up male students in school and getting away with it when the kid was causing trouble. That was the tail end of those times. It may still be happening where this mom lives? Schools need to be teaching love and patience and family values instead of the BS their wasting time trying to teach kids. Maybe then we could avoid situations like this.
