I think the premise of the entire story is that he wanted this thing so bad that he was reborn into a world specifically built continuously around him and his desires, making everything, and I mean EVERYTHING go exactly as he wants it to. What makes it especially funny is that he seems to have no idea about this whatsoever.

He thinks its a game but in truth his imagination is correct. I have had a weird theory about the show. What if what Shadow says actually comes true because the actual power granted to him by the gods was not ultimate power but the ability to make his imagination come to life. His subconscious imagination also can use the power to bring what it imagines to life and that is why everything he says ends up coming true. In truth he is changing reality and in the process destroying evil at the same time. To him its a game but to everyone else its 100% real and to the gods they knew he would be able to save that world in his own way and even be able to take some of his power back to his real world.

Shadow has the same plot convenience as usopp. The art of bull sh*t is strong in both of them.

I have one complaint about the mc he takes nothing serious everyone around him is taking stuff serious but for some reason he think of this world like a fun game were he can do whatever he wants it gets annoying I want a serious character or at least give him some character development he’s been the same character since the beginning. Shadow was only care for gold , tresures and wealth right? then he meet monster form and he called her Alpha. I think Alpha ask Shadow about what they fighting for and Shadow never knew that this Diablo's organization was true , he just come up with an idea about this organization. Alpha leave Shadow not because she's more power now but instead her motives are to find suitable or build a organization called " Shadow Garden". that being said Shadow thought his alone now but no. and besides treasure is his only thing , that treasure is them .,.
