I’ve looked at a shit load of utube videos trying to find if there is a snap rig holding that inner cv joint on the splined end that goes into the rear end. Found none, nota, zero , zip!! Thanks for the view that showed me no snap ring. Now I can put a puller on not worrying I was pulling against a snap ring.

Can any tell me why I had to take the metal round shield Tha is up above the spins I had to remove it before it wood go into my hub an Canon looks like a round metal shield is silver. It's in the picture on the axle.

Not as easy as it looks. Not too hard but can get messy but if u got time its worth a try. Make sure u get the tool for the band makes it way easier and u make sure it get tight the first time.

The tool for band-it clamps are like 12 bucks and get you much better tension on the band. Just buy the tool

At this point just replace the axle. It’ll take half the time and unnecessary steps

Dont follow any of this. Dude didnt pack the bearing at all and that clamp isnt doing anything, not even remotely tight enough.
