Lake Cascade Summertime Perch Fishing (Guided fishing trip)
The weather is nice and the perch bite is on! In this video we are on Lake Cascade chasing perch with an awesome mom and son pair from Wisconsin. We are using worms on the bottom and the fish definitely cooperate. June is one of those prime time months for perch fishing on Lake Cascade.
One thing to note, most of our days on Lake Cascade are very similar to the video. We are usually catching perch 11-15 inches and keeping our boat limit of 30 fish.

The beauty of Hells Canyon is tough to beat. The only thing better is the aggression and smack of small mouth on jerk baits. My wife and I put the hurt on a feeding school of small mouth using Megabass 110 jerk baits. They’re pricy as hell but man do they catch the fish. The fishing on this particular day was amazing. Like your videos and real info. Ririe Reservoir never froze enough this year to go kokanee fishing. Strange year. Idaho Falls is over six hours from Cascade reservoir so I've never fished it. Your video on boat fishing perch during spawn with blade baits was very intriguing. I may try to come up with my boat the first part of March. May want to connect with you for a day of guided perch fishing.

Okay, I’ve done all kinds of fishing, but never ice fishing, so I gotta ask….. why are you holding the poles like you’re using chopsticks? Also, in Idaho are you not allowed to put fishing shacks on the lake and leave them through the winter?
Helps with hand and wrist fatigue. You are constantly vertical jigging. Have to set the hook in a straight up motion every time. And that shack is a collapsible hub type. Put it up when ya get in the ice. Take it down when ya leave.
Now that is what a good time fishing should look like. Well done. Definitely a bucket list trip for me someday.

Chris the snake river cylinder trap works 100% better than the box traps.. the box traps are too easy for the crawfish to get out.Also maybe a little more bait,it looked to me as if you bait was gone so it makes sense they are leaving..the one where you said : it was on its side" maybe but I'm betting thet got out..I had 75 in a overnite cylinder trap in the area you're fishing last September and the bait box was nothing but bones( I pack my boxes full..great job tho..
