Something to notice at 0:38 the troopers at the front don’t actually shoot first, they attempt to arrest the rebels but it only escalates when the rebels make the first fatal shots on the stormtroopers and then it escalates into a battle.

The maneuverability can probably be partly explained by the fact that the engines/thrusters are on a sort of ball joint so that would allow for more sharp maneuvers and turns then what would be possible on a aircraft with engines/thrusters that are fixed because on the latter kind of aircraft you'd have to turn one engine off in order to achieve something like that. And the pilot wouldn't be affected by g-forces as much or at all because of inertial dampeners. Though on the note of inertial dampeners droid starfighters of the CIS were apparently moving so fast and doing such insane maneuvers during the clone wars that if a pilot with their inertial dampeners set on max attempted them they'd still be killed or severely injured. Which is insane when you think about it.

I love how Luke and Leia snap at Han. It’s hilarious! And it also makes them very human and relatable. They’re not like the stereotypical heroes who always know what to do, who are calm and collected. They’re stressed beyond belief, and Han’s recklessness was the last straw for their nerves.
