Making a mold in real time
I was deleting the footage I had left on my phone when I thought does anyone wonder what it looks like when I work in real time, probably not but figured I'd just post some of my work. When I work I take my time, enjoy a show I'm really invested in and just inspect the mold for any flaws. The work I do doesn't have to be boring in fact it feels good knowing my work'll pay off in the end. The only drawback is sometimes I miss scenes in my shows while focusing on the mold.

Clone Commando Mold Tutorial!
มุมมอง 422ปีที่แล้ว
There will be a video based on the making of the helmet as usual later on however for this video I'll be explaining everything I did for the brand new mold and the improvements I added from previous experiences. For the materials I used Rebound 25 at least three kits, to make the silicone less runny I used thy-vex a thickening agent used for filling in areas in molds and without the anxiety of ...
Making the first chapter
มุมมอง 97ปีที่แล้ว
I like to share how things were done here it's just sharing what got me started and what I intend to do with this series and all the thinking that'll have to be done. I don't intend on making every episode long or short it'll all depend on what story will be made and how serious things go. At the moment the next chapter is underway with a lot of notes and unexpected ideas being added as I go. A...
TK-829 Chapter 1: The Governor
มุมมอง 224ปีที่แล้ว
TK-829 is a stormtrooper fiercely loyal to the empire for reasons a rebel may not understand. In this small series I'm working on TK as I like to call him is going to experience many changes throughout his career with the first being promoted to Sargent and receiving a new arm that in ordinary circumstances wouldn't have happened. As the remaining trooper charged with protecting the governor hi...
Making by Breaking my helmet!!
มุมมอง 697ปีที่แล้ว
After watching Bad Batch season 2 episode 12 the outpost I decided to work on a helmet I put on hold for months as it was damaged one day while painting and I couldn't decide what to do with it. I initially thought shooting the helmet would break the helmet with ease and was very surprised the darn thing could take a hit let alone three. The epoxy was the most annoying part as the epoxy took aw...
Printing Arc Trooper Blitz's Helmet
มุมมอง 378ปีที่แล้ว
Making the helmet took some time as I still choose to sand my 3d printed helmets as smooth as possible before priming and bondoing. Next I used anycubic resin to hopefully give the helmet a smoother finish and in certain parts I couldn't sand it really helped fill in the gaps. And yes I used a uv light to initially cure the resin and then left it to cure in the sun just to be more confident wit...
Saving a faded mando helmet
มุมมอง 114ปีที่แล้ว
When I moved to my new home some of my helmets were left outside and the California heat was unforgiving to the point where after six days the helmet was badly faded. This is one of the last helmets I casted from the mandalorian mold and I still had the 3d printed accessories belonging to the helmet. For the paint job I was inspired by the helmet of Jango Fett from an interesting comic of Jango...
Finally left Lowes
มุมมอง 2392 ปีที่แล้ว
I have worked for Lowes for over a year and it changed my perspective in many ways for one I felt limited in what I could do with my life the other was knowing I could pull through heavy work despite my lanky frame. I also found out just how honest I can be I had to talk to customers even though I was introverted at the start, but by the end I could talk to folks as if I'd known them for quite ...
My unfinished cosplay
มุมมอง 1282 ปีที่แล้ว
A long time ago in an apartment one might call home I had plans to finish a wolfpack themed cosplay but for certain reasons it was put on hold and never finished. I saw a post on instagram @roarcustoms who made a mandalorian figure painted in the wolfpack colors which I thought was a great idea and began work on the armor. The ee3 carbine was also something I wanted to work on but eventually ga...
Basic essentials for Casting!
มุมมอง 982 ปีที่แล้ว
Most of the time people overlook some of the most basic stuff for casting and I'm a participant myself. This is for folks just getting into the craft and this is to hopefully help avoid issues that will come across your path when casting not just helmets but other projects involving resin or silicone. I can't say this enough but a good mixing cup really will help your experience when you don't ...
I made my own Omnitrix!!
มุมมอง 4862 ปีที่แล้ว
A while back a ben 10 video showed up on my recommendations and I thought why not growing up I watched ben 10 alien force more often then the original and never thought about watching the show until now. After getting to like the show and the theme I decided that the emblem of the omnitrix looked simple enough to design even for me. On tinker cad I used cones as the basis for the omnitrix and c...

Why aren’t all problem videos as helpful and cut to the chase as this one
Just solved my issue by loosening the screw. Cheers!
You don’t learn if you don’t make mistakes and it looks like you’re improving with every attempt. Keep going my friend, I can’t wait to see your next video………..Well Done!
I installed a new hot end & got this error, thanks for the fix :)
This worked, thank you!
5 years later and this is still super helpful! Thank you!!
Same! I was dreading trying to troubleshoot this and it took 3 minutes
I also 3d print on channel
No way, it worked. Dude, thanks!
I losen the screw and it work again. It was a simple fix and easy.
really hoping this is the problem i did screw it in pretty tight so heres hoping, ill be back in a bit with the results. EDIT: what, there's no way that worked. this is magic.
My brother I would like to say thanks and that tour video was informative and hit my problem right on the head. Thank you and I'm subscribe and share. Great job💯💯💯💯💯👍👍👍👍👍
Thank god I clicked this video. Since 4 years and it still working, I was worried.
Me has salvado el TFG, te adoro, me suscribo y te doy like. Gracias de corazón
Worked like a charm
Thank you x1000
Thankyou for saving me so much pain! A quarter turn on the screw fixed it!
Did you use mold release before the silicone?
Your video was really helpful, but the video quality of your computer shots are a bit hard to see. try using OBS to record your screen. its free and most everyone uses it. thanks again for the video.
i know i’m three years late but what’s the difference between 3D printing and casting a helmet
Crazy that I’m also seeing this for the first time today! Casting is like a big resin mold of the helmet and 3d printing typically uses pla plastic. You have to sand the plastic to make it smooth but with casting it’s already smooth, you just have to cut out the holes for the visor and other stuff
Thank you very much for this video. It solved my problem in seconds where I thought Amazon sent me a faulty hot end ?!
I’ve watched dozens of points videos and finally something that makes sense!!!
Nice job! super cool actually.👌🏻👌🏻😍 Have you ever tried to replicate a minifigure torso with all its details? I wonder how it would result with this production method that you use.
I got a brand new complete hot end and am getting low temperature warning. Everything is snug/tight. Im still getting low temperature warning. At this point could it be the ribbon cable needing replaced?
Thank you sorted my problem out 😁
saved me. THeres your like.
Thank you, i was struggling with that after a thermistor change and a was a bit lost. You really saved hours for me.
where do you buy silicone rubber , with lower price ??? 😊
Thanks, man, you saved me. I was planning to buy a new mainboard!!! I just lost the screw and voila.
Here is my sub
genius man thank you . saved me before i broke the heat bed just about
Thanks! This solved my issue after replacing the thermistor
Ne değiştirdiniz
👌👌👌👌👌👌
Nice! 👍
really thanks, pal, thid super short video is still helpful in 2023
Lovely work! Love BCS in the background too haha! Do you happen to have instagram? I’m active on there as bluebanthaprops
Problema solucionado, estaba muy ajustado el tornillo! muchísimas gracias!!
Thankyou so much bro. This really solved so many hours of mine.
this took me like 30 minutes of trying to figure out what was wrong before i saw your video, you have no idea how helpful this was!
What are the material costs for something like this?
How do I edit small parts of a 1 piece of print not just y and z axis
Just replace the thermistor...
Nicely done
Ain screen just says err under the nozzle indicator
Thank you! It worked Perfect by loosening screw on hot end.
Thanks my man! First video I pulled up and you solved my problem!
'Promo sm'
Thank you! I cleaned my entire hot end and reassembled it only to have this fault. You saved me from another day of diagnosis.
You have quite long "Under-cuts" on that jacket silicone mold. When you "De-glove" the jacket mold from your resin cast multiple times, the jacket mold risks tearing since it has to be stretched to up and over a especially on high points such as the "chin" part of this helmet. I definitely learnt this a hard way. It's best to do this type of helmets as 2 parts or multiple parts. Just my 2 cent suggestion :-)
The next thing you should try is trying to put a led in the republic commandos visor
👍
