Thank you very much for the video. You probably want to make an update given the latest developments. Belarus is going to allow citizens of 35 countries to come to the country visa FREE from 19th July. This includes Brits, French, Belgians, Dutch and many other nations. Whilst the government may not be friendly to Russia and Belarus, many regular citizens are friendly and would love the opportunity to visit beautiful Belarus. From what I gather, the Ecoline from Poland is still working. They quote from 10 hours to over 15 hours as the length of the ride, depending on the time of the departure. I am hearing that from Riga it is still possible, but apparently not from Lithuania. Thank you again and any updates would be greatly appreciated. Also, for anyone who is thinking of moving to Belarus or Russia, I have checked with Sberbank, and it's possible to pen an account as a tourist and use the card in Belarus and Russia. Need original passport and notarised translation to Russian or Belorussian and something from the place of stay (hotel). Hotel can be found on the site called ZenHotels. They operate from Cyprus, but allow bookings of hotels and apartments in Russia and Belarus, whilst paying with Western cards.

Be careful about the information in this video, I was turned away at the border between Poland and Belarus travelling from Warsaw to Minsk by bus in August 2023. When I checked the Belarusian foreign office website before travelling they listed my passport as visa free travel. The border guards acknowledged that but told me that I was not permitted to enter via a land border (only by air). The only people allowed to pass were Belarusian passport holders. So I had to get all my stuff off the bus and wait 6hrs in no man’s land (supposedly it’s illegal to walk back into Poland by foot 🤷‍♂️) before a tourism bus passed to return me to Warsaw. It wasn’t a very pleasant experience.
