she has more of a character arc that flowers i think the reason alot of people like her more is mainly because shes more human she has flaws and shortcomings like real people whereas ramona is more of a marry sue i honestly don't get why shes liked so much shes not even that great knives chau might act out more and be more of a pain but its because she was only 17 and he kinda took advantage and then shit on her after its more of a reflection on scot than her.

Unpopular take, but I kind of get Nate. I mean hear me out. You get in a relationship and then your girlfriend completely ignores you stops hanging out with you or doing anythign with you. As far as relationships I get you need to be supportive, but there are other things like birthdays or anniversaries that should take priority for BOTH parties. Also lets be fair here she also cheated on him which in my opinion is much worse than the lack of support. Also also lets be fair here she was getting more in a relationship with her job than with him and in real life women cheat on men that are like that all the time and break up with them because they work. Also the reason Nate seems a bit off is (now I don't want this to sound sexist) but it was written by a woman meaning that the way he acts is not the way a man usually acts. In some ways the roles are reversed for the genders. Imagine him in her position and he works and she gets angry at it it would be a lot closer to real life situations as mentioned prior.

Nate is a total snake - he pretends he doesn't like Andy's job for specific reasons, but actually, it's her having a job at all to which he objects. The second she gets it, he starts, "You got a job at a fashion magazine? What was it, a phone interview?". Absolute complete and utter bellend.

So I guess this person did not actually see the movie. She did go back into the ball with a guy who clearly has a thing for her, who she thinks is hot, just to skip out on hanging out with her boyfriend for the first time in several months on his birthday. But I guess power to boss babes who stop hanging out with their significant others, when they do see them only complain about how much they hate their job, and ditch them on their birthday to hangout with a person they end up cheating on their significant other with (according to Rachel being on a break still means it's cheating).

I love this movie man. Went to my first live show down at Egyptian Theater for the first time last month and I’m definitely gonna do it again next year. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a shit ton of fun and a great watch. I remember throwing a sponge when Columbia snapped at Frank calling him a sponge.

Ye. Nate is a whining Asshole. He shouldve been more supportive of her job. And he was sabotagung her. Also the friends should have been supportive. Ye when it no longer benefits him.

The whole premise of this movie is that Andy sold her soul to the devil (i.e., The DEVIL Wears Prada). She became obsessed with her job and neglected her friends and her boyfriend and she did change herself for a job that demanded too much of her. Her friends and her boyfriend had an issue with not putting up boundaries at her work. She lost herself and they were just trying to help her realize that. I was rooting for her to quit that job.

Another thing Rocky Horror may or may not do (it does) is give people who are ordinary (Brad and Jane) and allow them a couple hours of freedom with people who do not judge you to be the version of yourself you cannot always be or are afraid to be. I remember being 15 and we had some exam at school which happened to be on my birthday. And I knew that everyone would be too stressed out after that so of course I said: "hey my birthday is on Thursday but I'll be better if we celebrate at the weekend right?" And everyone thought the same, so we had a great party just a bit later. WHY 15YO ME UNDERTOOD THAT CELEBRATING BIRTHDAY DAY OR TWO LATER ISN'T A BIG DEAL AND THAT GROWN ASS GUY DIDN'T HUH

pretty much all of his girlfriends deserved better as his interest only ever came from a selfish place. i will say though.. he was the meanest to knives he was at least sorta half assed invested into the other ones. I don't exactly like her because she is a high school girl that i cant relate to not even in my youth did i have anything in common with her. But Scott is an asshole and Ramona was kind of his karma. She is equally as cold and distant willing to move on just as fast as him.

I remember watching the movie with my wife around the time that I graduated with a degree in engineering and I could really relate to Andy. Luckily though I had a great boss who was really supportive and supportive wife. It seems like Andy got the “Okay” ending.

People want you to do well but not better then them. These are the people you need to stay away from. "Friends" who are happy and especially at your expense, are NOT friends. Their "friendship" only lasts so long as you give those people what they want, even at your detriment. Andy was a people pleaser who was being used by her boyfriend, her friends and her boss. Sad thing is, we only focused on the lack of boundaries and people pleasing Andy did at the temp job NOT with her boyfriend and "friends". This film should have ended with Andy walking away from them all learning that it is ok to be successful AND to have supportive people in her life who are proud of her dedication, dreams and resilience.
