Hi there. As you can imagine there’s variability with these builds. But $50k- $60k plus whatever the van costs will get you in the ballpark. Thanks for the question.

I wanted to have the framing thick enough so some of those metal bump outs the Promaster has wouldn't protrude out past my wall boards and i could have a flat wall. And the van wall is curved so I wanted to take some of that curve out. So, for the middle horizontal piece I used a 5/4" x 3" pine I found at home depot (and I still see this available today at my HD), and for the other horizontals and wheel wells I used 1x4's (which are 3/4" thick). That fridge can be either 12 or 120v but is wired for 12v. And I do think the cooling rate is lower with these types of fridges. The focus is on low power draw rather than quick cooling so there's a trade off there.

You're right, and access is needed. We definitely left access to some of those items like tail lights, hinges. In fact I think w/ the Promaster you have to have inside access to get to some of the lights so both side rear corners the factory covers can be removed to expose the lights. I also left a few other access mechanisms in place to get to key things. There might be a few areas that could be challenging but for the most part I tried to build in maintainability. Thanks!

Hi there! Yes that's right, if you turn the AC or Heat on for extended periods not plugged into shore power, they will chug through the battery, no doubt about it. Depending on van usage (location, temp, consecutive days away from shore power, ...) a 2nd battery could be added. I contemplated this, but ultimately let the buyer decide. The AC can be pretty efficient, it uses about 18amps on eco mode. And the heater (and inverter overhead) as well draws about 18 amps. Thanks for the question!

Thank you, appreciate the comment! And no major changes, cut the hole wider as you say. A couple things to keep in mind….you will want to make sure you have enough room in the cabinet both width and depth to mount the sink to the countertop. Could also depend where your sink mounts (right/left, front/back, or all 4 sides).
