Kuching Urban Transportation System: SM14 (Hikmah Exchange)
The Hikmah Exchange Station (SM14) is one of the key stops within Phase 1 of the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) project. Located at “Padang Pasir”, it is the northern terminal station for the Blue Line, which will have a total of 15 stations, including one interchange located at Simpang Tiga.
Stations under the KUTS Project are divided into at-grade stations (stations at road level) and elevated stations. At selected stations, they are equipped with lifts and escalators, which allow ease of access for the elderly, pregnant women, and people with disabilities.
Additionally, all stations will be equipped with an Automatic Fare Collection system, Passenger Information Display System, and CCTV to ensure the safety and convenience for all passengers.

Chaiyoo-chaiyoo sarawak ibu pertiwiku👍👍😉😉😊😊im proud to be a Sarawakian people's more to discover😊😊👌👌👍👍😚😚
It seems like a new airport
I cant imagine how can this big things climbing from the road surface to elevated bridge? Does it have enough power to climb up ?
A high speed train from Kch - Sibu - Bintulu - Miri should be considered too. For those not willing to fly or using bus which is too long hours.
PTMP,KUTS sudh sepatutnye beroperasi since 2007....knp bru skrg nk buat???
Projek pernah di batal tun m,, primier dah sambung progress banyak org sik tauk
Thx for this bro
when complete?
Thanks Premier Abang Jor! Sarawak is moving forward 😊
What a waste of money.
why is that
Its just a glorified bus. What a waste of taxpayer's resources. This project will fail just like everything abang jo did
Got stations, dedicated lanes. Still deliver the purpose like lrt. Although it is similar as buses. But do buses have small stations like that? Dont think so
Banyak pokok dah ditebang. Adakah berbaloi?
I saw numerous trees sacrificed and beginning to think... Is it worth it?
most of the comments here are pessimistic
Well Done Sarawak!! simple & cost effective with High Performance of moving people seamlessly
It's just a glorified bus. You people cannot be that naive to see that

Sangat menarik. Lebih baik dari ART Nusantara sebab ada laluan khusus. JB, Putrajaya boleh juga membina sistem ART ini yang lebih menjimatkan kos pembinaan.
Sik sabor❤❤❤❤
Kena buat jejantas untuk pergi ke stesen
I have that feeling like that this ART isn't going to benefit most locals. But when i put myself in a tourist's or visitor's perspective, travelling around Kuching would be such a breeze
Moga siap sepenuhnya sebelum sukan Sea diadakan🤲🏻
Moga fail projek ni 🤲🏻

Mun ada komen padah "Kenak perlu ada ART? Semua pakei kreta bah", mun sapa malas mok drive boleh naik jak ART. Tetapi ART tok pakei sida pelancong skali. Kadang2 takut jalan sesak. Ingat benda ya

All around must be connected by skywalk to the malls, market, hotels, public park etc..with wheelchair friendly features safe for all groups of users..else will serve no purpose

but why that hazy sky editing? trying to imply something?🤔

Make sure all station has ample parking and feeder buses..only then ART ridership will increase.

Wait, the future (?) / end stub seems to suggest slicing into the front of Electra House/Open Air Market.
Possibly an extension to waterfront then to padungan to pending? Connecting to red and green line? From the plans, it does shows that.
@@kalunkoup yes that's the potential future extension but the harm it gonna bring to the area will be quite painful. We still don't really have any idea on the footprint of each pillars.
Steady lah
No wonder why there's green space
Very well designed! Was wondering where they would place the station when they announce it near Hikmah Exchange now its clear!
From the footage u can tell its in front of the Mosque... The current CCK/Carpark area....
What good design? It's a duplicate of the airport station. Lazy architects are doing lazy things and earning easy money from taxpayers
@@JPGOD1-p7g wait till you find out how all the MRT/LRT stations in KL looks like XDDD
Good one!
Looks like near the public toilet dbku parking lots
KACAK! Sik sabar eh.... dkt ngn rumah.... 😍
To make a good public transport, the station hv to be located to nearby schools, clinics/hospitals & govt offices, so that puclis can use it and it be just within walking distances. Otherwise it will be useless.
Is this a train or bus?
It's a rail-less tramway or in other words a modernize tram
Actually for me benda ni investment yang bagus sebab sekarang dah banyak kawasan petrajaya yang dipolah jadi perumahan. In ten years time when this line might be completed, the density in that area might starts to need it... and also to say.... many of those who lives in petrajaya but works in the business area in the city can now choose to use lrt instead of congesting the city which is already congested. For those yang sik dudok Kuching mungkin sik tauk benda tok, tapi tangga jaklah kelak in the future, betapa menguntongkan projek tok kepada rakyat.
Boleh tangga bah kinek, tanah di pusat bandar dah makin kurang and banyak dah development melimpah rah area matang, petra, semerahan pun sama juak dah kenak telan Kuching.
@@fid.firdhaus aok, klk kawasan luar kuching ya nang akan byk perumahan, tangga taman belian kinek, banyak unit rumah sia
Soon Kuching will be like Singapore ??
I hope so.
Yes
Give it 20 - 30 years. 👍
Not yet, but already MILES ahead of Brunei.
Seems like there are soooooo many good locations for a station to be built but it's just not there in the alignment????
What happens when the new KIA moves to Pantai Damai in 10 years' time? Seems like a waste of money.
In 10 years time also the government will produce more money. Might be double.. so which part of waste money?
If a new airport is built, then this old KIA can be turned into a domestic flight hub as well as to accomodate flights from Sabah and Peninsular.
@@fid.firdhaus How many direct international flights do you think KCH has ATM? IMHO, there will not be a business case for separate domestic and international airports within the first division in the foreseeable future.
If it does moves then this old airport can be redeveloped into a new township and use the existing station without worrying building another station.
but the airport is going to move tho?
No biggie.. if it does move that old airport area can be redeveloped and the existing station can still be in use
The ART can run how many km per hour? Too many station will delay the traveling time to any destination. It's said the hidrogen buses will support the whole KUTS. No idea yet how? I'm just skeptical about how ti's ART can ease the current traffic congestion endured by the road users. Hopefully the whole operation of ti's ART future transportation system we'll plan by the KUTS management. Otherwise, KUTS management and top gun will be badly backlash by the Sarawakian.
