Be warned everyone, this would be great if when you trade in multiple currencies it works as you would expect but it does not. For Example my main currency is GBP, and when buying US Stocks for example it all goes to pot, as individual assets do not update correctly. Now if you are starting a portfolio from scratch you can get around this when updating your deposits just convert for example your GBP to The current conversion in USD for example, but when you have an existing portfolio and try to add in transaction histories you have no hope. Good work on what you have created but you should be more transparent with people because the individual assets does not update correctly and the currency thing you show that can be changed does not work and properly and is pointless being there. Just wasted 15 dollar plus taxes for something that does not working as it is being made out with you showing you can change your main currency that does not work, wouldn't mind would carry on with my patreon subscription as a thanks if it actually worked but as it doesn't you then feel you have just blown the 15 dollars plus taxes on something unusable. That being said if you are depositing in a certain currency and only buying stocks/ ETFs/ Crypto or anything else in that same currency it will work great, however, when you are buying stocks for example on different exchanges that use different currencies then it does not as I buy just Stocks or ETFs in GBP on Trading 212, and this portfolio tracker is not fit for purpose, it is a shame but be warned all as it is not been made transparent enough.

Thanks for the great work, bro! Everything's working smoothly for me, except for one issue. I'm seeing accurate current prices for some cryptocurrencies like BTC and ETH, but others like SOL, ALGO, and DOGE are showing a "#REF!" error instead. Despite trying various formula modifications, I haven't been able to resolve the issue. The problem is that I can't get it to work for both crypto and stocks simultaneously. It either works perfectly for stocks or crypto, but not both at the same time. Can you please help me out?

Can we add custom holdings without a known ticker symbol to this portfolio , so we can track their returns too, by manually updating their prices and transactions ? Need this for my work retirement choices which dont have stock market tickers

Does the Portfolio vs Index performance graph take into account the dividends we receive? Thanks for this video, what a great work. I have followed all the processes and created one. I found out on the currency section, when I tried to other currency apart from USD or Pound or EURO, the conversion still showing $ symbol and also the for crypto currency, some of the coins price were unable to be retrieved from the formula. it always said the url not found.

Hi i having issues with the cost column . AFter creating 6 ticker, then 7 ticket dont register the cost of the ticker. there is also no formula in the cell. How can i repair this cell?

im stuck at Portfolio TICKER AD3 at time 17:38... #REF! Array result was not expanded because it would overwrite data in AD4.

But if the fund is actively managed you'd have to update the spreadsheet with all of their holdings regularly?

Shouldn't you remove the Refresh Option Prices checkbox from the Dashboard (Manual) tab? By the way, in the current 2024 Sheets version you can remove the y-axis from the Win/Loss stacked bar chart by clicking on the 3 vertical dots in the Setup/Y-axis box and selecting "Remove".

Also, when you use your credit card to pay everything, and then you use your savings/checkings acount to pay the credit card debt, how do you register that to not have inconsistencies in the accounts values.?

I just build this as an extension to the original stock portfolio tracker. However lets say I sell full out of an stock, then the “total P/L” drops with the profit I made from that stock. If it should be right it should still keep the profit made from it before sold added to the total P/L. Do you have any solutions for this?
