There is a time to hold Bitcoin.
And, there is a time to trade ALT coins.
Over the last few days, Bitcoin has gone Honeybadger again and it is now is a risky time to be holding ATL coins. As soon as Bitcoin broke through resistance, most ALT coins dropped quicker than a prostitutes panties on pay day.
But without big news?
Bitcoin has no reason to get back over 20k.
I mean, we are talking about the most expensive coin on the market (by far) with the slowest transaction times (by far) and highest fees (by far). The price right now is based on nothing but speculation.
There is no reason for it to go higher.
Except for one little (big) thing…
Lightning network.
One guy has already made a transaction using bitcoin that was almost free, and almost instant - but it took him a lot of technical knowledge to pull that off.
Lightning network promises to make Bitcoin great again for non-nerds. But, does it even work? Literally nobody knows. Until there is news of it working (which could happen any second) there is no reason to hold (HODL) Bitcoin - and no way of knowing - except for one thing:
INSIDER TRADING.
When any coin has big news about to drop, the people that know about it buy up big before the news hits mainstream. That could be happening right now, with the biggest cryptocurrency on the planet, due to new technology being ready for the market.
Alt coins are cheap and it is tempting to get a good entry.
But the trend is your friend, but 200% gains in a day are not happening right now, so buy them at your own risk. This isn’t advice (duh) it’s just my humble opinion.
