They do that a lot in cold ass weather, but all you have to do is turn the ignition off and back on and it resets. Went through 3 of them thinking they were all faulty. Just my 2 cents

Can take the end cap off the stock exhaust and it’ll be just as obnoxious for free. FWIW-There will be times when driving an “S” model that you wish your bike was quiet.

what if you have lamp out only when lights are off? that lamp out message goes out when i turn headlights on then i turn them off and still no lamp out message only when if you restart truck with lights off again?

How much did you get it for? I'm looking a few 2016's in the North East and some of them are asking $9k which seems high but idk if thats the going rate.

My check guages light is on but all my guages work fine. Any ideas?

All the time the writing has to go on top as per piston ring instructions given by the manufacturer. There are plenty of technical reasons for that. It is a standard across the industry. DONT PUT the writing backwards.

I was working on these things over an hour, fighting, trying to minimize scratches, stopped several times to watch videos. Nothing worked. Chain was so loose when checking timing, seems like the intake cam would be out when the chain is tensioned

I found out the oil supply of the vacuum pump was almost fully clogged with dirt causing the seals of the rotor inside not to close completely so not enough vacuüm was build up and pulled up a p0171 code

Why does everyone say if your riding on the road you shouldn't do the desmog to the KTM? I ride my ktm 500 exc-f both off and on road. Since I am on the road from time to time then I shouldn't do the desmog?

What years of MT09 will this work on?
