I love listening to guys that have been around for so many years that are still so enthusiastic about when talking about the guitar and playing it’s simply awesome and this guy has locked it down playing rhythm behind some of the best lead players to ever do it

'Such an amp needs a Les Paul'. Couldn't have said it better, however the strat did sound amazing and the string seperation was phenomenal on that strat. Amps like these really showcase the the guitar type.

These 70's Super Bass's are just amazing sounding. They're biting and round. Like them better than the 70's SLP's.

Sometimes i wish they'd just leave it on the neck pickup when soloing. Thats the best Les Paul sound and it sounds super killer on those Korina Vs

I think Michael set his brother up on purpose to get his V guitar from him. Rudolph seems more authentic. Michael is no doubt petty and childish. Both amazing guitarists. I love the Scorps and UFO with Michael.

I have the same guitar. My Deluxes has 'pancake' build....a 4 layer sandwich body (top maple, mahogany, then a sliver of maple, then mahogany back) The neck is made from three strips of mahogany. It sounds bright for sure but does lack sustain. Pete Townshend used them By 74 or 75 Gibson Deluxes were solid mahogany with maple tops ...probably sound different. Oh ..and the nitro cellulose wears off the neck

Rudolf's admitting he's not the best technically on guitar sounds like he's a humble person and not the type of guy his brother Michael claims him to be egowise.

The guitar solo in Rock You Like a Hurricane is arguably one of the greatest solos ever recorded and the fact Matthias plays it note for note live ,and his 50+ yr career and his incredible catalog of lead guitar playing is proof he should be considered a guitar god.

Michael Schenker isn't as nice about Rudolf in his interview. He trash talks him throughout his interview starting with why he left the Scorpions in the early days.

Sorry, I'm full of dumb questions, but is getting that undertone note really only from having somewhat worn out can caps, or are you just saying it somewhat accentuates it in a certain way?

With the JMP 50 Tremolo, does anyone know what the main differences were schematic/component wise from 68, 69, 70? Also, is the Metal Panel Vs Plexi panel on say a 68-70 JMP 50 Tremolo just cosmetic? Also, can you just pull out the Trem Tube like that to disable the circuit? Does it have any effect on noise, or sound in any way?
