We had a packed photoshoot and the day for shooting the Power was small and windy. But normally we would have plenty of freeride/freewave footage to show.

They never that enthusiastic about the power although it is probably the best board in the range for the most of the real world windsurfers

I completely endorse Adam's explanation of the Cube's onshore performance. I sail in the English Channel. Excellent job, Keith, yet again.

Interesting that your most wavy board is a thruster, followed by the quad, whereas with Goya (which of course is also you) it is the reverse! Any insights on that? (I use Goya thruster boards for the glitchy winds and somewhat complicated waves at my European location)
This is related to rider likes and needs, on Goya Braw and Francisco prefer Quads on side off conditions, where as on Quatro, Keith, Levi and JP prefer thrusters. So these differences are rider-driven.
@@user-sb5ti5io2o can we say that the latest Pyramid is more "buoyant" than the 2018 model? How would you compare these 2 generations? I currently have the 2018 88 Pyramid and I am thinking of switching to the new one but I also consider the Cube, however I really like the feeling of the Pyramid that I have now.
@@twojstary_1500 Wow, hard to remember that one, its been a long time but Volume is similar, always within a liter or two. I would say that it will be very similar in regards to flotation. If you like the pyramid and it works well where you are at, I would stick with that model. the new one is really really good as far as pyramids go and what they offer. let me know if you need more info. After so many years, you would think there isn't anything left to improve. Surely every compromise (that is a board) must have been built and tested by now? Can you really move forward without a major change in the design requirements or boundary conditions (like sails or materials)?

It's very nice to see a down the line Maui spot, as much as Hookipa is epic, it get's a little dull watching the same wave over and over. These cam angles take you on a ride too, which is cool as it feels like being out there. Also good to see Adam Lewis in action, he must be missing the Cornish seas 😉

love the close up shots on the gear, you can get an idea of what he is riding. Interesting to see the shape of the tail on the board and straps hes using, it really does seem like a slightly beefed up surfboard
Very good eye! Kai wants his windsurf board to look and feel like a scaled up surfboard. That includes the widepoint, outline, and especially the tail profile. There's a lot of outline on the tail but it's really thinned out to get that grip and connection.

I’d have to pitch a tent in polli polli and ride my bike up and down every day so I don’t know But I was really looking forward to seeing you guys and sailing at Kuau again ! Amazing video. Around 1995 I started windsurfing and in one ocasion Sean Ordoñez came to Chile. His style was oustanding, specially when he jibe on an incoming wave and surfed it backside. Those guys were our heroes

Love my Quatro’s, cube, pyramid and power, has all bases covered. 92+99 pyramid/ 106 cube, 105 power. Best production boards I’ve had in over 20 yrs !!!

Good morning, I am sad to tell you that Solo Sport is no longer active, nature and the big waves do not end and you can go enjoy it but the facilities as shown in the video are no longer there, I spent this weekend there and Solo Sport no longer exists, there is a Great Character named Angel taking care of the place and can help you, but once again SOLO SPORT no longer exists, enjoy Baja California
