Do New Haven narrate
I lived there from 1979 to 1995. There is an underlying anger to people there. People are very quick to yell at other drivers who don't do what the yeller think they ought to do. People just seem angry all the time, I guess because all the blue-collar jobs like at Western Printing and Schatz Bearing are long gone. The county put all their hopes in IBM on route 9, figuring that they don''t need those smokestack jobs, then IBM went down the tubes. Women when you meet them in singles bars look good. You can fuck them. When I lived there single women drove Pontiac Trans Ams and cars like that and they were just putting in their time until some chump marries them in a big. gaudy wedding. Once she's got that ring, the long hair gets cut off and the weight goes on. Marital bait and switch. Ask me how I know. So glad I don't live there anymore. I won't go back.
I can’t believe that you passed my house wow😮😊❤
Elmira is an oasis compared to Binghamton, an hour drive east of Elmira.
You're telling me I'm living in one of the most dangerous cities in America?
Them: this is a dangerous city. Also them: drives in school zone, which is almost at every part of Bridgeport
This video FUCKING SUCKS
Stop skipping shit, leave the camera alone, and is this an airplane? Bing! Bing!
I’m sure it has seen better days, but that’s actually pretty nice for upstate.
Is probably top 100.... Maybe ranks 88
Whats Walnut at like?
Rutland appears to be a tidy, well kept city overall. No decay or abandonment noticed anywhere. Unfortunately it has the typical suburban sprawl on its outskirts.
What a dump. White flight and democratic politicians.
I lived in Beacon for many years, raised my kids there, I wish I could go back and see the changes made but cause of health issues I can't no longer travel by car or plane. I still have family living in Beacon as well as Fishkill, Wappingers and Poughkeepsie, seeing these video bring back memories.
I used to live in Raymondville. I miss the old place.
Nothing like the boogie down, baby. The BX!
The south side of Binghamton appears to be a beautiful well kept area for the most part.
Another struggling older northern city driven into poverty by deindustrialization. What does Elmira have now besides a state penitentiary on its outskirts?
While Schenectady appears well kept and not as destitute but deindustrialization still did serious economic damage to this city.
Y'all must live in the town of Poughkeepsie. The City is dangerous and far from soft and this coming from a city dude. Them dust heads are killing left and right up there
Weres the Poughkeepsie tapes house
The Hudson valley really is beautiful. I loved going to bear Mount etc. On Mount beacon you can see the NYC skyline. It’s the best part of downstate imo
Were it not for exorbitant taxes, high crime, poor schools full of numbers of fatherless children on welfare, and bad weather,,Schenectady would be a great place to live .I gave up after being taxed out my 1200 sq ft Stockade home seven years ago. Taxes exceeded the mortage- making it a no deal
Warburton back of untermyrr where theno 2bus used to turn around by the spring.
I like it.
Having been raised in Sch’dy, I left in 1963 to attend college. Sure do enjoy seeing my hometown once again. Wish you would call out street and location names. Enjoyed the video, Thank you.
The brick buildings in the beginning are a complex right next to the fire department downtown
Would be much better with voice over for locations
I used to live on Tilden
The ex 8 Thrid Ave Elevated line that used to run on Webster Boston road Bronx and Gun Hill road Clearmount Webster Boston road Bronx.
Boogie Down BX
Why leave out the nice areas? I live here. Not a complete dumb but definently going down hill. There are some really nice areas also.
You should go up S. Washington St. to Woodland Ave. and Morgan Rd. by Ross Park. That's where I grew up.
I grew up in Hartford during the 50s and 60s. City was segregated, north and south, nerdy white kids from the south side, but we walked and played all over the city, Never any issues; always brought a basketball with us; it was the passport to peace and fun, as long as we got home before dark.
Bridge mix canines puppies Caddies patties Candies ladies Princess Lavengra Topple popular Queen Neferterria
Beautiful once upon a time!!!
I live out here. Unfortunately
Albany is getting worse :(
The building on the right in the thumbnail now has a ramen place called District Ramen. They are really really good japanese ramen. Crazy it's in the ghetto though. I don't mind. You can park at the DMV lot and walk down to the corner where it is.
You drove though all the dumps in Albany. How about going through the nicer neighborhoods, like Whitehall and Cestwood. Show the nicer places in Albany. Not impressed at all on your video.
I lived on Barclay St, Carroll St and Montgomery St in the early '60s and frequently was in Mt Carmel Sq, North Clover St, Verrazano Blvd with my friends. I always stayed away from areas north of Main St around White, Cherry and Pershing Streets but even not it's not that bad. It's certainly not 'one of the most dangerous'...
Had a really nice apartment on south Hamilton street . Walked the streets all the time Never had an issue

Man, although I moved, Yonkers will always be home.
Feeling nostalgic lately, even though I was born in Yonkers, St. John’s Riverside Hospital, and only lived in Yonkers for 10 years of my life, but visited into my 20’s. It’s been well over 30 years and I can remember South and North Broadway like yesterday. Hasn’t really changed much. Family on Radford and Randolph Streets; North Broadway as well. Sad to see original Yonkers Library gone next to City Hall. Remembering winning an Easter basket in an egg hunt at City Hall when I was a kid. Took classes at YWCA across the street from City Hall, next to St. Mary’s. Amazing I still remember it all! Great video!
I lived all my life in Port Chester I love my home town it has everything you need from good food to stores, library, post office, super markets like Costco and its walkable if you dont have a car which is great. just homes gave gotten so expensive here i may be forced out but i will always love my home town PC
To say allentown has changed is an understatement... 😮
Bullshit
Great town. Spent the best years of my life as a student at SUNY Potsdam. McDuffs was epic in early 90s along with Backstreets and the Bagelry. Beautiful campus as well.
have relatives who live in this area still. Haven't visited, since 2014. It's been ten years. Still, this area does have a lot to offer. It's all about what you put into it.
