BeerMonster Draught Beer Tap - Honest Review
มุมมอง 2.2K2 ปีที่แล้ว
I review one of the trendiest new things on the market: an at-home draught beer dispenser! No more trips to the pub. Could've used this before lockdown... DISCLAIMER: Since completing this video, I think I solved all my problems. It's all to do with the C02 canisters. One was in too tight, one was in too soft. I put the third one in just right, until i heard a small sound, and it's worked perfe...

Vejo Portable Pod Blender - Honest Review
มุมมอง 3.8K4 ปีที่แล้ว
A new company named Vejo have released what feels like a step forward in health technology by modernising the old, faithful, trusty, humble blender. A portable, pod-based piece of kit with several nutritious blends to try from seems to be the solution to my fizzy-drink addiction. Will it cut the mustard? Or will it 'blend' in with the rest - ha ha ha.

If you're gonna be put down by a comedian, Jimmy's the man. With the mindset of "you only live once", I heckled him whilst my friend recorded the put-downs. This is what followed...

This video is the perfect example of why audio and editing are SO important in video making. The resolution quality can suffer, so long as the audio is designed well enough with good editing to keep the viewer engaged. You've just earned a subscriber, and I am glad to get to see your channel grow :)
That's very sweet of you! Thank you mate, really appreciate it :) have a cracking christmas & new year! x
Damn you're fine 🥰🫠
Can you link it to Strava?
Can you provide some insight on how the durability of future silver compares to matte black? Also, how scratch-resistant is matte black with daily use?
Not an owner yet....just ordered a future silver gen 2. In my research of smart rings, I noticed they're all prone to wear: especially if you're wearing them with strenuous exercise like weight lifting. For my activity counts, I have an Apple Ultra 2. I decided to get this ring since it's small and can track my concerned metrics (especially sleep). I did request the future silver as I think it will have the less signs of wear. From what I've seen from users of smart rings, colors like black will scratch relatively soon.
Can GPS even be miniaturized to that size of device?
summer in England? 😂 you quite funny 😂
Which colour is durable? Matte black or future silver
Just for your information, I did a step test wity my generation 1 Ringconn. I walked 655 steps - - my Rinconn measured 685 steps. About a 4% error.
Which one was incorrect?
I'll give you a cheeky wee subscribe!
Payments on the ring would be good too
All i hear is a marketing pitch 😂 and he call it honest review 🎉😂
new subscriber alert by the way!
@@harmymd legend 🔥 thanks mate
This was actually very enjoyable to watch. I might just get the ringconn gen 2 afterall. Something about the lighting or camera quality tried to dampen the video but the sheer quality of content kept me glued. Nicely done Gary.
@harmymd that's very kind of you :) thanks for the nice words! I think my next port of call is to invest in a good camera, any reccomendations?
@@mistermarston well, the samsung s24 ultra or iphone 15 pro max actually do a very good job these days with good lighting. The good cameras versatile in both photography and videography are not pocket friendly as I'm sure you know, especially here in the UK. The sony A7 series with appropriate lenses is a good starting option.
@harmymd I'll take a look into the A7 series thanks bud, currently rocking a Galaxy Z Fold 6 but it's not quite up to scratch! Cheers.
@@mistermarston hahaha, you use a Z fold 6 and here I was thinking I could help save you some pennies, hahaha... That does have a decent camera but you will need even more lighting or better still an outdoor setting for best performance. You've got style though. I like it. If money is no object, you might as well go all out and get the more versatile Sony or Canon cameras, usually above £8k for Camera and lense(s). That way, you won't think "camera" again for a very long time and can film comfortably in a cozy dimly lit room which I know is more your preference. I'm in the West Midlands. If you're not terribly far off, I'll be happy to go camera shopping with you some time even...hehe. Cheers.
They gonna add paywall soon, maybe as ultra human, or different. CEO even mentioned that sleep apnea will be avaiable behind pay wall x). Having no subscription and not doing new accesories like watch, sugar meter etc... the company cannot survive, maybe if they release one ring every year but... We will see, atm am sad that they are not transparent about future pay walls.
I'm excited to have this ring as my first smartring. Have you had a chance to test the sleep apnea mode? I'm curious what it would say for someone who knows they don't snore.
Does it now auto sync your data and the rings battery life to send you a low battery alert without having to open the app unlike the ringconn 1?
Good question! As far as I'm aware, everything is still done in-app. The syncing & the notifications etc. I haven't seen a low-battery alert, but with the extra long battery life - you sort of don't need to. If you're not checking the app once in two weeks, I would question whether or not you even need the ring. But if you check the app once every two weeks, you'll undoubtedly see your battery % and know whether or not to stick it on the charger for 10 minutes.
@@mistermarston thanks. I guess the fact that the sync when opening the app happens much faster makes it much less of a chore, and rather a daily task. Ringconn 1 was so slow if I had forgot to open for a few days I would be waiting awhile for everything to sync. But if it is fast now then even if a day is missing the app can sync quick and I could view the data whilst brushing your teeth for example
Just backed it £164. I have a Garmin watch at the moment but only use about 10% of it's features and it stops me wearing the other watches I have whereas with this I have the freedom to wear my others and still track my steps and sleep etc. Well presented vid by the way.
@thegrumpygamer3081 cheers bud and congrats on backing it early! I'm wearing mine as I type this, it's like half an inch wide and like 1 gram in weight. I think this will free you up to wear whatever you like 👍🏻 what colour did you get?
It could use googles find my device utilizing it's Bluetooth capability
@@DanielChaves1984 genius!
Are you saying that the Gen 2 ring at the same size has a tighter fit compared to Gen 1?
It's thinner and lighter - but I think the reason it has a tighter fit for me is because I dropped from a ring size 9 to a size 8. So I wouldn't necessarily say the Gen 2 ring is tighter, that's my ring-size change, but the whole thing is smaller and lighter so contributes to that overall more 'snug' feel.
@@mistermarston actually the Gen 2 is lighter than Gen 1 regardless of the size you chose. The Gen 1 weighs between 3-5 g, while the Gen 2 weighs 2-3 g. That's a lot of huge improvements consider the product itself is so compact already!
If my size in Oura ring was 11, may I assume the same size in Ringconn?
@@udenss I'm not 100% sure - i think for safety, it might be best ordering the sizing kit from Ringconn ASAP. Please refer to my previous video on that.
@@udenss yes you can!
Still waiting for tech like this to figure out a way to be able to measure blood sugar levels. I can’t stand all these tools having subscription fees. I will support anything that doesn’t have a subscription. They need to par this with AI generated insights based off the data. And ya GPS would be awesome for running.
Hadn't even thought of it for running! Good point! Could link it to Strava and have the easiest fitness tracker to wear, ever. Blood sugar levels would definitely be a game-changer too, all good suggestions!
The MSRP will be 299 US dollars after the kickstarter campaing!
I think that's pretty reasonable, although the early bird price of $209 at the moment is a bargain!
Great video your a natural
I want to buy one without the sizing kit my index finger is a 10 should I go with the 10
Yeah i'd say so, if you want to wear it on other fingers though I'd genuinely consider a 9. My other fingers were a big thinner than my index finger, so a 9 worked out best for me.
I don’t see a point of having a ring that just checks on your health rate your heart your lungs etc… Why would I want that? I’m not a hypochondriac. No thank you , I prefer a ring that’s beautiful with gemstones and diamonds light and dainty and fashionable on my small hand for everyone to admire and if it can control my iPhone or my smart TV then that’s a plus otherwise I’m not interested
Can you let us know the price in £GBP after shipping and import duties please?
Bargin. Hahahahh how much you get paid for this.
I am more gutted I can’t send be it back. £34.00 on a complete waste of money for it has nothing to do
Don't wear it on the index finger. It becomes a nuisance when holding other items. And the ring will also keep turning. Something which is bad for reliability. Plenty of new rings available now. Without subscription and around the 49€ mark. Some even include Blood pressure or Glucose level measurements. Regarding GPS, current batteries won't allow it.
Would you say the actual ring feels more like a size 9.5 rather than a 9??
Yeah I think I would mate, in the end. Probably aim for a half a size down for your actual ring - just to make sure it doesn't slide off accidentally when you're doing some fitness or anything like that.
@@mistermarstonI appreciate it bro
I purchased one and am very happy with it.
Ah amazing! Glad to hear it!
Good boy.
haaaaa😓.... I've got mine since the funding and the battery rains super fast wont even last a full day now so I just keep it in the box for now and yeah nice video man👍👍
Did you contact them? I heard of them replacing those
RingConn? More like RingCock, am I right!? 😂
I will forever regret sharing that story with you 🤣
Keep it up!!!
That Trump bit was hilarious. God bless. John 3:16
invest in a little clip-on microphone. It will pay off. (I've seen a lot of TH-camrs with a DJI mic and they sounded decent.) Good review by the way!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks bud! Just ordered one, great shout! Cheers!
Great Video!
Cheers! 🤜🏻🤛🏻
It's fake because it doesn't have the little r next to the logo and numbers on the water limit
I’m getting one on 2 days!!
Is it good and also should i buy one?

I've bought this to stop me from buying lemonade all the time which is bad for me, honestly it works well for me
Do you think it is worth for me to get one
My sister really wants this bottle and this will really help her, thanks for the review
Ah I'm happy to help :) hope she enjoys!
I've just picked up one of these machines on sale for £49.99 an absolute bargain to get a well poured pint at home.
That's a bargain price to be fair! Where did you manage to find that?
@@mistermarston icelands believe it or not. I still can't quite believe it myself.
Thanks for the review! I feel a lot better about ordering a £30 bottle lol. I hope it works, I am quite a skeptical person.
