The Mario brothers were told to retrieve peaches voice but Mario before abording the koopa cruiser falls serious ill with the koopa virus so Luigi had to go on this adventure alone, terrified for what is to come in the future Mario comforts Luigi telling him he will be alright, as Luigi waves goodbye to Mario Luigi again starts to fear for the worst for what awaited for his long adventure. Days and days go bye for Luigi it feels like eternity without his brothers red hat and overalls and his slice mustache to help him and guide him, Luigi feels lost, each and every battled he sees visions of his dear brother giving his that good old thumbs up with confidence to help cheer him on meeting the superstars brothers the red one reminded him of his brother, so did the people I'm chucklehuck woods the red one reminded him of his brother, even the hammer bros, also the fish ladies that gave him his nice massage the red seat reminded him of his brother, eating mushrooms alone reminded him of eating mushrooms with his brother, Everywhere he looked there was ether a empty seat of a Duo of some sorts made him sad not seeing his brother by his side, while fighting Cackletta's soul he thinks that this were he will die he is already weak from the bomb explosion and his brothers absence made him feel weaker this is it this is were I die. But Luigi realizes he came all this way through the ups and down and the hardest enemies he's ever faced alone he couldn't give up now would Mario give up now he though, would he go through all of this just for nothing. And with this new confidence he powers threw cacklettas attacks eating mushrooms,peppers, and nuts but he didn't give up and with a final swing of his hammer he defeated cackletta he "saved peaches voice" and saved bean Kingdom and reunited with Mario. And as Luigi made it home safe he learned something, even without his brothers help he can still be strong.

5/11/23 Update Part 2 of this challenge is officially cancelled. There simply is no reason to continue this challenge, as it is mostly the same thing as this video.

Im a 30yo something...i found this game pretty hard.

I count this as a loss since you didn't escape Bowser's castle and therefore it would've exploded in the perspective of the story.

Newer games have also suffered from having a lot of characters joining in the early game and practially no new units in the mid and even late game. The only way to get new characters in the midgame of Awakening and Fates is through child characters (which take a long supportchain and 2 characters to keep alive). Sure, you can get maybe 1 or 3 useful units in later chapters, but this is it. Echoes is even worse with its cast, but at least you get Mila's Turnwheel, which make classic mode less punishing. Classic mode can only truly work, if a game is designed with it in mind. Newer games had problems with that and I hope this issue doesn't return in the future. I also hope, that a potential FE4 remake adds more characters, because FE 4 with its small roster size in each generation and the marriage system, isn't the best gsme to implement permadeath.

Honestly, this challenge seems less about difficulty and more just making the game more tedious

So can it be done? Yes and no.

In my first playthrough, I was in woohoo hooniversity, and Mario was at low health. I wound up fighting Cackletta and Mario fell in one of the holes at the start and died. I was like "okay no biggie" until I saw I had no 1-ups. I had to do that entire fight as Luigi alone.

I'm sure you'd label me an elitist for saying this, but casual mode needs to be done away with. With turnwheel being a staple, it renders casual mode obsolete, because you can simply rewind whenever a unit dies. Playing with casual on, with turnwheel, basically neuters all stakes, like phoenix mode. So it's a little silly to tell people they shouldn't play phoenix, while simultaneously playing casual, with turnwheel
