I've been skipping jigs under docks for almost 30 years. The best jig (by far) for dock fishing is the "Jewel J-Lock"jig. It has a nice bait keeper, too. Try one, you will like it!

I’m going to be doing some fishing on the chain for a couple days next weekend for the first time. . Looking to find some smallmouth. Any tips on what lakes I would have the best luck to find them. No spots needed just want to not waste tons of time?

Funny comment about the airbnb being on a hill. Cherokee is a reservoir, it was a mountain valley with the Holston river in the bottom of it so yeah all the terrain around will be hills. Great place for smallmouth when the water is low.

I’ve got a tournament for state at Kentucky lake this weekend. Never fished it before so it’ll be tough but hopefully we do good.

Local TN father who grew up fishing KY lake. My son who is in 8th grade has gotten into fishing and plans to fish high school. I was scrolling TH-cam looking for some videos on KY lake and your video came up. I just have to say you boys are first class. My son watched it also. Loved y’all’s passion for fishing and the Lord. I too have ffs on my boat, and I can use it also. But after fishing for 50 years, having a little more life experience and a Big God, I can see where we’re headed. It’s not about fishing anymore, it’s about catching boss. Only catching wins tournaments anymore. And catching is about ffs today. 😊👍

Nice bass....i'm heading to KY Lake to do some fishing with my Parents and wife all next week. Looking like 50+ % chance of rain almost everyday though....not happy about that, but hopefully the fish keep biting.

I grew up fishing Minnewauska on the Starbuck side. We always caught bass out of the bullrushes heading north coming out of the Starbuck marina.
