Good one bro😊😊
Brah' Eastern Woodlands is M81 woodland. Your camo patterns don't all need to match either. Desert/Arid pants with M81 woodland blouse is effective all year in woodlands. The pants match the dead leaves on the forest floor. Outside the snow belt you don't even need a white smock. Once you live in it a week, it's the grime and mud that become the camo. IC XC NI KA

also finally got my Rode Wireless Me 2, too work by downloading the open camera app. go to settings, audio , default source. apparently it's a problem on Sanyos, Motorola's, and some other cell phones.
Personally, I won't run anything but mid length gas systems outside of My DMR's and My pistil builds. Shoots smoother and historically is the most reliable outside of Rifle length. I would run a heavier buffer. I mostly shoot handloads though (I do have plenty of factory ammo as well). Yet to have any issues with any of My guns. I used to have a problem with a .300 blackout that had a 16-inch barrel and a pistol length gas system that I got rid of. I appreciate the review. Do you still have it and how is it running??
yep I just restaked the whole gas system, ran 300 rounds of 5.56 and now it's one of my favorites
Love seeing you getting out there! Keep up the good work!
appreciate it thank you
Keep up the good work!

thanks I'll look into it
yep I just turned the volume up but probably getting a wireless mic now since I'll be doing more outdoor videos. thanks for the tip btw.
What range is this?
@@logangladson6097 www.briggscoredynamics.com They're up by Fowler, IN. Definitely highly recommend these guys very good solid guys.
@hoosier_tactics Thank you, sir. I'll definitely check them out.
Don't change springs. Get an adjustable gas block, then you're prepped to use a suppressor.
My truck gun is a 8" .300 blk suppressed loaded with 110 grain vmax and a 1-6X Vortex LPVO. Where I live, I can drive with it locked and loaded and mounted to my truck consol, and cops don't even ask about it. It's a free fire zone by us where wild hogs are concerned. No state gun laws, either.
Public Service Announcement: Hillbillies already have plans to put up road blocks and checkpoints no matter what government(s) do, in a mass evacuation event. You better have a destination prepared and have all the fuel you need to get there + at least 50% more to account for rerouting. You also need to have a route plan that keeps you off interstates, on state highways... you need to have driven it before, have alternate routes and have PAPER MAPS and a compass and know how to use them. It's also good to have something to show you belong where you want to go: an ID, mail, a deed, a letter from a resident of the area... We Hillbillies are shutting down our counties to outsiders...just like after a hurricane... we'll be escorting vehicle convoys of refugees passing through without stopping while people still behave decently. All those National Forest acres you plan to bugout to. They're ours. This has been a Public Service Announcement from America's Hillbillies.
excellent PSA btw
Thanks for the camo tips, makes sense for the the area. Plenty of ridges and inconsistent color areas 2 camos are probably better than one
Congrats on getting your own little slice of heaven! Keep up the good work! Thanks for the shout out!

Bro, throw some camo swatches out at different times of year and it will help us all see what blends as the seasons change. Nah they dont blend the lighter browns of Multi are a sharp contrast from the darker M81. Indiana State Constitution Article 12 Section 1. If you are male 17-55 that resides in the State you are legally subject to call up.
@@presidentmerkinmuffley6769so there is a precedent for using different camo blends, check the movie Lone Survivor, they're wearing woodland olive drab and desert pattern together. so more digging online and looking up pictures for Delta mixing it up. also as a citizen may want a different scheme than what a major world army is wearing .

Grey Man = Don't put a target on your back. Grey Man sounds cooler and is easier to say 🤣🤣🤣
Fellow Hoosier? Nice. Sub'd
Great video man. I would seriously consider adding an ifak to the belt and chest rig and some extra trauma gear in the bag. If you’re preparing to possibly fight with a gun in a shtf situation there’s a good chance other people or you yourself will be hurt. Especially if you have to fight from your vehicle. We’re always so quick to get equipped to cause bleeding and few of us think about the time where we might need to stop bleeding. There were many cases during the “summer of love” where crazed leftist “protesters” assaulted people in their vehicles that got surrounded by protesters. Some of them had guns and were shot by the driver in a couple instances if I remember correctly. Another situation could be if you find yourself in the middle of an active shooter situation. Even if you act and stop them there are going to be injured victims that are going to need help sooner rather than later. Something as simple as a $30 tourniquet can save a life. Things to think about…
@@xi-deadshot-ix5838 yep exactly right, I have an ifak in my dangler and in my car. and people forget you can sign up for minimal for red cross emergency classes like CPR and emergency first aid and etcetera. gotta be able to patch holes and make holes.
I put a small strip of skate tape on the top of my slide behind my front sight. Makes racking the slide and press checks easier with sweaty hands.
No outside medical professional will trust your blood type patch. They will always give type O until time allows for type testing. The only use for these is when your orders require them and your internal medical team has been ordered to administer according to the patch.
Hey man did you try putting an h3 buffer in it with a heavier buffer spring like a geissele braided? It slows down the action and gives more dwell time to build pressure, fixes every gas issue I've had, it's all I run now. Didn't improve over time? I was thinking of doing basically the same build
@@grobtheory466 I actually did the opposite I took everything apart, realigned the gas system and using a standard buffer, ran 200 rds of 5.56 and now it runs .223 no problem.
@@hoosier_tactics nice! If you start shooting suppressed and have similar issues the h3 and braid is the cure, it took a bunch of trial and error before I figured that out, but now ive the both a 10.5 and 16 running flawlessly and soft shooting both suppressed and unsuppressed. Looking forward to the 13.9, my 16 is too long with the dead air device and can, also I have the e brake on the end which is amazing
@@grobtheory466 interesting the rifle length and mid-length gas systems have a lot less gas blowback pressure where the carbines have more but it's to clear debris and be more resilient. 2 downsides. 1. harder on the bcg and parts and buffer but more reliable. 2. you need an h2 or h3 buffer to even the impulse and slow the bolt down some to be more consistent. all that said lol, you could probably put those in a mid or rifle gas system but may not need it. vs a car one where it's preferred.
Good video. Where did you order your chest rig from?
@@speedyconcretepumper Amazon actually, Helikon Tex micro chest rig
Excellent video & info thanks
Excellent advice thank you for sharing. People usually discover the hard way that you and only you are responsible for your safety. No one is coming to your rescue. One other item that a wise gentleman shared with me many years ago ... if you are getting into your car to drive to the local 7/11 or cross country to never leave without wearing shoes that you can fight in or walk long distances.
Honestly, all I have is CC and 2 extra mags, Bear Fak, couple bottle of water
I think that's a good base line especially when things are more normal. with things getting more strange and dangerous is where I like the idea of scaling up, like a multi tier defense system. normal: CC and a couple extras unusual: more supplementals maybe a rifle and backpack and CC dangerous: rifle maybe armor or sustainment rig. etc
@@hoosier_tactics when we go out of town I color up a little. More like what you’re talking about in here.
