Pretty half ass if I’m being honest. A lot of rust left behind and painted over , would have been much easier to access and more thorough to remove the sub frame and a few other things .. hope it’s going ok now that you can see the old rust anymore if it’s spreading or not

I took mine off also, it's near impossible to find replacements, so you couldn't have fixed it anyways. Buff it out and you'll never be able to tell there were stripes

i have a C5 Z06, imported by the previous owner in Switzerland there was no need to convert the tail lights. it still has the US style light (which are much nicer than EU lights). Same with my imported Cadillac ELR, it keeps its US tail lights.

I saw this on youtube suggestions and had to look twice as i thought it was me and my C5 Z06. Awesome trip! Let me know the next time you make it back, maybe we could meet up at the track. I live about 1.5 hours away from Nürburgring.

I probably would have used a rust remover first, like Bilt Hamber Hydrate 80 to stop the rust before sealing it again..

this needs serieus attention. these cars are worth it. dont just spray some shit on it. disassemble, blast en powdercoat it.
