Some friends and I started playing with RC cars and it just got bigger.
Bigger track, bigger jumps, bigger cars ect.
So we race a little, bash a little, fix and repeat.
Too much fun.
4 or 5 drivers and a dozen or more cars

Another great day of fun with friends. Broke the first part on the Kraton 4s... rear bearing carrier My Xmaxx... still getting used to driving it... its a beast Sledgehammer tires are still glued on.... Keep bashing. break - repair - repeat

Just got a couple of the new Kraton 4s V2's. First drive and play session They seem to be pretty tough, and easy to drive. Bryan rewound the stock motor of his XMaxx.... uber power and awsome temps!! what a tech nerd.... :) and the body is still together... and for good measure we beat on the Talion Exb's..... B finally broke an A arm on this XMaxx, everything else survived without issue...

My Kraton with a max 6 combo, and Talion with Backflip LP tires (Kraton got new RPM red arms all around) race and bash with Brad's stock Talion and Bryan's Talion with "road warrior" style body My XMaxx ran great! but has a clicking noise in the front right, so the run was short. -Sonicwake got a new motor 3680 1800kv w/OSE Raider 150A *looking for longer run times with lower temps with decent speed -Recoil got the stock power system out of my UL19 and moved battery tray, servo, and esc to the back looking for a better CG ran it on 4s. might try 6s (gonna be unruly) has a 50mm stinger drive but stock trim tabs and rudder. -Rivos (Helion) with a TFL small oudboard. 30A D...

Update - Burnt see note at the bottom Update on the mods to the truck, how thing went together and how there working. Cant wait to go run it again, this thing is getting Beastie! NEW SledgeHammer tires look good... see how that goes... All in all, Im very happy with the motor, esc, and gears. I like the idea of motor mount with support under the motor, but will just have to see if it slides aro...

A quick race session with Kratons and Talions and Bryan's Road Warrior XMaxx... body?? Kraton - Max6 4985 1650kv 17/50 Today it was about 90 degrees, after a good run the rig hit 121 on the motor and 116 on the ESC twin 40mm motor fans

Built this about a month or so ago, and have been focused on general maintenance with other cars and the mods to the XMaxx Time to start tweaking on this one... Mojave is one of my favorite cars to drive. Handles so nice on the track with excellent steering (compared to a Kraton). Max6 combo provides plenty of power. Love the video but a suggestion maybe talk a little bit in it. I subbed I’m gonna watch some more videos, but I really enjoy watching videos when people talk a little bit when you get in an accident or something don’t be afraid to speak your mind on the video I’d rather that then someone not say anything the whole time but again love it keep up the good work.

Nice river for it. Seems like just what the designers intended versus those jumping ramps with it. Scraping across shallows instead of being thrown into the air and breaking stuff.

Have you had a chance to do some heavy hard-core bashing with that fan shroud? I was going to buy one of those and I saw some bad reviews about them not being able to handle so I decided to wait on getting one but I saw it on your rig and thought I better ask and find out from someone who actually owns it
I had a couple good crashes..cracked up the body and bumper. Put one in on its lid... and so far so good. It seems sturdy(rigid) so maybe it will crack. I went cheapo with the plastic fans. My maxx is turning into a tank. I did a few more mods that im going to test tomorrow. I'll let you know if something bad happens to the fans.

beat it pretty good today. fans have all their blades and still spinning. mount appears to be solid... it is zip tied to top rails, so it flexes on those rails. and sits below the body... tough to impact directly. so far so good.

we were 105 the other day today it was 80 when we started and the high temp after a good beating was the esc at 110. fans are running off receiver and fan port at bec voltage 7.4vand whatever the ecs program port has?? tested them on the 4s balance plug and they sound like a ducted fan jet airplane. also heard on high voltage they suck the batterys...
Running 21/35? I just bought the Bowhouse and a hot racing 50T. Smallest pinion with the riser is 33 that fits. Do you think that’s too much for mod 1? Have a max6.
Hi thanks for asking.. I never did research on mod 1 gears.. but the video from Exocaged has the motor mount in one of his videos. He runs mod 1 gears. My final gear was 23/35 mod 1.5 with risers. Close ratio. I thinK it would work. My ratio is 1.52 ..yours a 1.51. Run it til it breaks and go Vitavon 1.5 mod
I think 1.5 will be the way to go. But do you see any issues by giving up the Cush drive? There is a guy who sell a 35t spur mod 1.5 that fits on the stock spur shaft to keep the Cush. So I’m trying to decide between WFO with their D shaped gears or vitavon or saga pinion with this special Cush Drive spur. Thanks.
@@howardsadofsky7694I saw that in a video... it appeared it would be hard to get and i was not willing to wait (lazy) so i gave up the cush drive. I do believe it would be best to keep the cush if possible to avoid blowing diffs with high power systems to absorb the shock from drivetrain. I was gonna follow up with the 1.5 cush drive gear once i get the things i have done dialed in. also a vitavon ger cover... crap get in there...
I ordered The Vivaton 25-35. Hopefully my max 6 will be sufficient. Got a cheap mod 1.5 cover on eBay. Will let u know if it works. You get different opinions on the Cush Drive. Rich Duper bash says it’s a waste.
Good deal!! Vitavon stuff looks awesome. The bowhouse motor and risers claim a max tooth count of 60 w / mod 1.5 gears...could not get the mesh loose enough... 3 layers of aluminum tape on the bottom of the risers got the 25T pinion to work...crashed bad and i think the motor moved and could not get it back, maybe dirt? Finally put a 23T pinion on and now its mesh is great... im going for for fix it and forget it.
