How is this roasting a Star Wars fan if it's a scripted skit?
That’s part of the joke of the sketch. She’s underestimated then roasts.
Tim rules!
Can't wait for this show!
There's a fun theory that Skeleton Crew is going to be a Captain EO origin story; with the main kid Wim being a young Captain EO. As well as the elephant kid Neel being related to Hooter somehow and even the droid SM-33 sharing some similarities to Major Domo.
That would be AMAZING
Skeleton Crew looks positively charming.
Star Wars Nerd: Oh yah...what age did I lose my virginity? Natalie Portman: How old are you now?
Mrs. Portman is a wonderful and legendary actress❤
More Star Wars knowledge than Disney combined, even if it is scripted.
You mean more than the fans that don’t understand what is and isn’t canon
@@shamanspointofview8083 interesting that you know what I mean more than I do.
@@jamesdaniels8007 I mean it’s not hard to check, do you need to know what is cannon? Nothing but the movies and Disney stuff, minus Disney stuff if you are only Lucas canon

Really enjoyed unpacking this show/season with these gents on @trustintheforce 🎉
wow, nice to see all U padawans, lol, i really enjoyed this first season 🤩
You don wna mess with THE ACTORS
I think the show had rough spots but overall I enjoyed it more than Boba Fett and Obi-Wan. Thanks for your takes!
We’re with you! Would love to collaborate on a video in the future with you!
“Torbins a bitch”. Lol
They stuck the landing if the intent was to be absolute trash.
What aspects did you like and what aspects did you want to see improved?
Agree with a lot of your guy's points. Never thought I'd see a Wookie / Gold Rush crossover!
Now we need more Wookie content!
So she was 22 in this interview.
I wont even blame lesle 100% for this episode, the witches powers depicted in this episode had Dave written all over it. Im sure this was a way for them to prepare us for whatever garbage is coming with the mortis ark in ashoka
Very possible
A vergence you say, Shoff? I overall agree with you guys thoughts on this episode. There were some moments that made me think it could’ve been better. I enjoyed it pretty much.
Thanks Super Tim!
This episode still didn’t answer the most important question still, which is what happened to the 180 million it took to make this terrible show lmao
The question of where the budget went is legit. I don't think it's terrible but still doesn't look like $180 show.
@@TrustInTheForce I mean besides the facts that yoda doesn’t sense 6 Jedi get simultaneously murked and the fact ki adi mundi isn’t even suppose to be alive based on the insider guide that came out with the release of the phantom menace. And that same guy being the person that says the sith haven’t been seen in a millennium is hilarious knowing that he witnessed Jedi masters get murdered by a force user trained by a sith, *cough, cough* I mean “fallen Jedi” lol he’s not even suppose to be alive and they got Wookipedia to retcon his birthday when everyone noticed it the night the episode came out. It’s obvious the people that made this show have some sort of alternative agenda and don’t know as much about Star Wars as they think they do. But hey if your enjoying I’m happy for you, but me being in my opinion a real life long Star Wars fans this goes against everything George did and I honestly force myself to watch it just cause I love Star Wars so much I have no choice. But yea fruit for thought glad someone likes it I guess
@@estebanmorales5083 Always in motion is the future.
@@estebanmorales5083 Well all the things you mentioned could be explained. We haven't seen Yoda so we don't know if he sensed it or not. This video explains Ki-Adi Mundi - th-cam.com/video/Jn25WOdEBpw/w-d-xo.html I think you can not watch shows you don't like and still be a great Star Wars fan. There's a lot of great stuff right now in the novels, comics, video games. If you're not loving a tv show or a movie, there's always something coming out that you might like better. And I want to say thank you for leaving your opinion without saying the people who are enjoying The Acoylte are trash and idiots. You were respectful and gave your opinion just like you should. You're one of the good ones :)
@@TrustInTheForce ki adi mundi shouldn’t have been born yet so it doesn’t matter what the video says lol.
awwww my fav podcasting guys again, my son & adopted son :D keep up the gr8 episodes of my fav show Acolyte :D
The reason we do not see Qimir's butt... Is that the intimacy coordinator taught all the naked men how to do 'the helicopter' and Disney are trying to pretend they aren't moving to become the next Spearmint Rhino's.
lol!
Man, this podcast was fantastic! This panel should be a permanent feature.
Thank you very much!
0:15 she respects me!
As someone who hasn’t enjoyed this show i can appreciate that there are still fans excited for star wars content! But we as fans deserve better than this, leaving things vague isnt actually setting up any mystery or intrigue it just causes more questions that wont be answered. That in combination with disney’s ridiculous process of creating these shows just leaves us with a 90 minute movie thats now a 4hr show with more plot holes than answers. As a standalone show it makes zero sense and theres only an hr left of screentime
Thank you for your comment! I'm gonna withhold judgment on the mystery of The Acolyte until after the season is done but I can say I really didn't like the way Ahsoka left things vague. We were left with a lot of unanswered things and didn't know if the show would get a second season. Now of course we do know they're making a season 2 but that's knowledge that would've eased my disappointment after seeing the season 1 finale. Please come back and share your thoughts if you stick around till the end of The Acolyte's season!
How do you KNOW the mysteries won't be answered? So far, the show has provided answers to three of its central questions in prompt order.
@@hoos3014 im curious what you think the “central questions” are maybe im not understanding ??? Aside from being from qimir’s reveal what have we been shown so far and even that isnt relevant to overarching story . We have seen 6/8 episodes aren’t any more informed than we were after ep. 1, with only 2 episodes left idk how they are gonna explain why any of this mattered in universe, i understand there’s still time to wrap up the story in a way that lines up with the prequals
@@danielwilson3225 I'm referring to the basic questions they set up, and answered, in the first 5 episodes: Who is killing Jedi? Answered Osha and Mae are living twins. Answered Who is the masked stranger? Answered Here are the general remaining questions: What happened on Brendock? How will the revelation of that truth impact all characters? Will Osha and/or Mae change orientation? Who is and/or was Qimir's master? What is Sol up to? What is Venestra hiding?
@@hoos3014 my point is the “basic questions” are irrelevant to the plot if there even is one…. Who killed the jedi was never in question by the end of ep1 we knew there were twins Mae and osha being twins hasnt been elaborated on in 6 episodes in doesnt really affect the plot at this point aside from them switching places Why does it matter who the stranger is if there has been no set up for that character ( no explanation on how mae and he got together or why he would assist her in killing jedi) We have seen 6/8 episodes and like i said we dont really know anything we didnt know after episodes 1&2, why do we care about any of the additional questions you stated when they haven’t told a story at all….. why did we see any of episodes 2/4/5/6 when they are completely disjointed in comparison to the brendock story we got in the ep1&3
If only the pacing, episode length, and writing were up to par. This show has some good plot points, but it fails in delivery. It’s also not Ahch-To that was confirmed in an interview.
This could’ve actually been a really interesting story if it was handled correctly
George Lucas in Original Trilogy = Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy George Lucas in Prequel Trilogy = Michael Bay's Transformers films
😂
Love me some Trust In the Force, and love me some Fused Film!
Wonderful discussion on a great episode. I am looking forward to where things go in the next two episodes.
Awesomeness my guys, ❤😊
Loved the fight scene!
Yeah!!
I think the Stranger is the apprentice because there is always two. I also think that his master hasn’t named him yet and maybe we will get that later. And since there can only be two the stranger has an acolyte instead of an apprentice. The master will appear at the end.
That was my thought too
Enjoyed this episode with that awesome grandson of mine & his new monster trucks❤ gr8 podcasting Shoff & the VactorVerse😊
Paid shills. I hope that check was big enough to make up for your loss in integrity and credibility.
#JusticeforJecki 😭
Yeah the fighting was great. Don't know why disney thinks it makes sense for a Padawan to saber fight so well after all the knightams basically got slaughtered. But disney can not, not Mary sue.
This is a really good breakdown of the fight and an answer to how the padawan could keep up with the Stranger th-cam.com/video/X-o3uZNLbWo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=VYrzCerNCmfqIBMn
Sorry, it doesn't rival the best of the prequels in terms of choreography. Most of the fighting was not star wars, this whole show has ruined star wars in general. I recommend you watch the original fights, and see the differences.
By definition, since the fighting was in a Star Wars show the fighting therefore was indeed Star Wars.
Correct. You win. 🥇
@@LuchaJohnny let me remind you the worst example of "star wars" was the holiday episode, now we have an entire tv show that makes that episode better canon. So you're welcome to think this is "star wars", but George Lucas (recommend you watch his recent interview) says it isn't.
@@WarAuthorityWell, unfortunately, George gave the right to say what is and isn’t Star Wars to Disney when he sold it to them. They own the property and are now the ones who can say what is and isn’t Star Wars. 🤷♂️
@@LuchaJohnny Doesn't stop the creator of the IP sharing his view points.
Sol could’ve been the one to erase his own mind from what exactly happened 16 years ago. Including him knowing who the stranger is.
That makes complete sense! 100%
Gr8 to see my fav people always ❤ awesome podcasters 😊🎉🎉🎉
I loved it I heard the same hate for Clone Wars in early 2000s
Yep!
Love the content guys. I think Vector is right that something happened with Tobin and Kelnacca with the witches and we will see that soon and finally have some answers. I love the show. Any Star Wars is good Star Wars. Yes, even Boba Fett.
LIKE A BANTHA!
@kenwesty thank you very much!
Do better, Acolyte! Do better!
Thems FIGHTIN words!
It did pretty dang good!!
Preface, haven't watched the vid. Liking and commenting for the algorithm lol. Gonna listen later. One thought about the Sith: Qimir could be the one in the helmet, but the mystery that no one's talking about: WHO IS/WAS THEIR MASTER? Is he the only Sith? Is there someone we haven't met yet? Will they show up? I think this Sith is going to be the red herring bc we're not thinking about the Rule of 2.
I’m with you!
MYSTERIES!!!!
@@SuperTim616 yessss like everything in this show has told us to question what we see. So like when we see the Sith show up and the literal read is that he's the big bad and everyone except Qimir is on the same side, there's gotta be a curveball coming, rightt? Lol
