Why 2024 Husky FE501 and my initial thoughts
I never had an enduro motorcycle, I was looking for a dual sport motorcycle and I ended up with 2024 Husqvarna FE501. This video covers my initial impressions as a new owner and some reasoning behind purchase decision.

2023 KTM 890 Adventure R - first impressions and mods

Just a few thoughts after a couple of days and 800km with 2023 KTM 890 Adv R. I moved to this bike from 2021 Husky 701 Enduro. So far, so good! :) 3d Printable phone mount: www.printables.com/pl/model/506779-ktm-890-adventure-gps-mount it is the standard AMPS hole pattern most mounts use (38mm x 30mm) and RAP-B-347U Ram base fit perfectly.

I am fine with modifying bike to my needs. But now, when I am selling my 701 Enduro, I find that it makes it much harder to find a rider that will appreciate it... here are my thoughts from the 701 selling process.

long mileage TKC80 - 15.000km on 701 Enduro

Continental TKC80 - factory mounted tyres after 15.000 km (9.300 miles) were still doing quite well, but because of the upcoming trip I decided to change them for new set of TKC80's. Good for commuting, good for gravel roads, pretty bad in the mud, but overall - great tyre for my kind of riding. Thanks for watching!

I'm surprised that you bought a hard enduro, I hope you have other plans than riding Polish tet rats etc. I had a Yamaha WR450 converted to a hard adv (large tank, fairing, seat). It didn't work for 2 reasons, each trip was 150-250 km and I was doing too many kilometers for a high-performance engine. The second reason is that Polish TET and RATS are too easy for such a motorcycle, boring. Then I bought LC4 and took it to Bosnia and Montenegro. 95% of the route was also suitable for Adv but for that 5% I was glad I had lc4. Currently, I have an 890r too, and this is a good combination because if I want to do an easier tet with travel time, I have an 890r, and if I want to do a more difficult tet (Albania, Kosovo), I transport LC4 on an car trailer. However, I don't see any use for EXC, because it's basically off-trail riding in the mountains. At our age...? ;-)
Hi Rafal! Did you bought this bike in addition to the 1 year old KTM or is it a replacement for the 890 Adventure? As you are "floating" between the KTM and the FE501 I still believe you already had the right bike... 😂 Anyway have fun! It's always interesting to hear and see your thoughts and impressions. Hey there, thanks for the question - and I have no issues what so ever, at least so far after 13k km (8K miles). KTM recently said they will cover the cost of any cranks related repairs, so I am a bit less stressed about it. Anyway, I totally enjoy riding my 890!
Do you ever get this bike cook your legs? I've tried the 2024 version and the heat on the back of your calves is pretty excessive. I'd have to install a heat shield or something.
Hey there and thank you for the comment. To be honest, I felt a lot more heat on Norden 901 than on my 890 Adv R, and I know this is strange as those engines are the same. Answering your question - I can feel the heat on my legs, but this is far, far away from excessive cooking you mentioned. And in summer I am riding to work wearing jeans and Dainese York Air Shoes, and it is absolutely fine. It might be different settings for other markets...
the buffering is from the handguards on the norden remove them and its gone

2017 here with 50000 on it and not a single time has it left me stranded. I have a 990 for longer trips too. After all this time I’m considering either selling it for a 500exc, or maybe keep it and get a little 250/350. Good video!

Here is how the story has unfolded for me: a year ago I switched from 701 to 890 Adventure R and I loved everything about it, except I only missed the light weight when going off-road. So I bought a 2018 CRF250L to fill that gap. Year later I am selling my CRF and I just got a FE501 to be the dual sport besides 890. And I hope this will be my setup for the years ahead :) (and I went with 501 instead of 350 just to have more capability on the road). Cheers!

I’ve got 50k on my 2017, it’s been awesome, starting to consider a new bike again, not sure if I should go with the 690/701, or my friend bought a Kove 450 that is pretty darn good. Not as fast in a straight line obviously but it handles everything very well.
Here in Warsaw, Poland there was a Kove dealer for some time, but it has shut down. They told me there was an issue with getting parts for service... So I decided to go with a less exotic way with FE501... Cheers!
Excellent, thank you. I have a KTM 890R which is a wonderful bike but with so many reported cam related issues as well as a few other things, I am reluctant to take it too far from home on extended trips and have been looking at the Suzuki DR650. However, after having a 95 hp engine, dropping down to 39hp, plus all the other upgrade mods to make it ride well, I'm not excited about the DR, except for it's legendary reliability. What I read about the Husk 701, seems to put the excitement back in. Would you take it RTWorld? Also, I am 171 cm and am concearned about the height, especially in stop and go traffic. Was that an issue for you? Thank you!
Hey there mate and thank you for the comment. 1. Would I take 701 RTW? No. I would rather take CRF300 Rally or T7 for RTW. Just to have peace of mind. 690/701 is a great bike, but I've heard too many stories about issues with that platform (even with hydraulic clutch being fixed now). 2. With 171 cm of hight you will definitely need a lowering kit as in stock form 701 was already very (very!) high for me with 180cm. With lowering kit you will loose some ground clearance, but without it you will have a bad time... 3. I also own 890AdvR now and obviously I am concerned with the camshaft-gate too... but owning 890 I would never go to DR, and 690/701 would also be a signifficant step down in comfort and long distance traveling. Now KTM confirmed they will cover all costs of potential cam-shaft issues, so I am sticking to it for sure. Best!

Hej Piotrek, powiem Ci szczerze, że nie pamiętam, żeby one mi jakkolwiek dokuczały w zakresie hałasu. Jechałem na nich też dłuższe odcinki autostradami na 701 Enduro i dużo większym kłopotem był komfort (a w zasadzie jego brak) siedzenia niż hałas opon.
Great review, i have an 890 smt and when i brake gently approaching lights or junction mine shudder quite a bit, so not a clunk but a bad vibration as if the contact surfaces are binding, its fine under hard/normal braking but light feathered braking causes a nasty shudder, if it wasnt for that the bike would be perfect
Thanks! I believe I also had that shudder in the beginning, but a few hundreds kilometers in this was gone (and replaced by a clunk, that was recently fixed during a service). Have you tried cleaning the brake discs ? Maybe that would be helpful too. Keeping my fingers crossed for a solution. Cheers!

Hey mate and thank you for the comment. Interestingly, I am considering some sort of 501/701 once again... it is truly an awesome machine. One reflection: if I was to do the build for me once more, I would strongly consider Adventure Spec fairing instead of my rally tower. It is much simpler and lighter solution for a bit of wind protection and having navigation in the sight area. Just a thought to share :) Best!
I don't bother looking at the fuel gauge or range. Just go by the kms.

Hey there, to be honest I was considering T7 for a very long time. Finally I gave up after a few longer test drives - it was far too top heavy for me (I actually dropped the bike at the dealership....), the way the exhaust is mounted to the frame is basically a total mistake and yes... I need a good cruise control for those long highway miles... T7 has some positive sides like engine and reliability, but besides that the rest is already not so cool in 2024... Cheers!
Regarding your views on the exhaust noise output, I think that for a proper adventure bike it is much nicer to have a quieter bike, just so that you’re not making a noise nuisance out in the countryside.
+1 I have stock exhausts on both of my bikes exactly for that reason. I do not want to create any unnecessary noise when I ride in the countryside... even with the stock pipe on 890 I recently scared off the horses and that didn't feel right... Cheers!

Thanks for your comment! 701/690 is a great platform, I absolutely loved my Husky! If you can keep your Aprilia for some time as a second bike, that might be a good idea if you also like to have longer road rides. I finally moved from 701 to 890 platform for exactly that reason. But if most of your riding is off the beaten track, you'd love it :) Cheers!
Doesn't this modifying apply to the whole motorcycle industry? There is an entire market of suppliers depending on manufacturers to build a basic motorcycle where you have to buy additional components (clutch cover to prevent the rear brake lever to put a hole in it is a straightforward example) to get it 'right' or 'the way it should have been build out of the factory'. I agree with you to rather have a modded bike where the former owner has experience with the mods and the reasons to put them on the motorcycle. I do have an additional question with regard to luggage. In this video I see the Kriega OS mounted on the 701 (can't see what size the bags are, 12 or 18 L?). In another video I've seen the 21Brother Rogal 40L. Would you be so kind to share your experience with both of these systems, since I'm looking for a set up to ride off road. I'm interested to know how these systems deal with the weight distribution, as I'm assuming you try to put all the heavy stuff as low as it gets, and as forward to the engine as possible. And how fast is it, for each system to take it off the bike, in case of a fall or at the end of the day when you set up camp, and (might) take the luggage inside your tent. Other question I have is with regard to the Rade Garage Tower. Did you install it yourself? If you did, or didn't :), is it plug-and-play, or do you have to be an electrician to be able to mount it? Looking forward to your reply!
Hey there and thank you for your comment and questions. 100% agree with the aftermarket parts, some of them are simply required to go off-road. Manufacturer is selling a bike with many parts being approved by the accountants, not riders... In regards to luggage - yes, I have tried a few solutions and my observations are: 21 brothers 40L (21brothers.pl/produkt/rogal-40l/) this is bulletproof bag, very good quality material and because of that quite heavy compared to Kriega OS. I was using that bag on my CRF250 Rally and during my trips I was not taking this bag off my bike, as this was either easy or fast to to. Because of that one morning I found out that some robber was going through my bag during the night (I didn't leave anything important in the bag and the parking space was on a closed parking, but still there was someone interested what is inside...) Kriega OS (my bags are 2x18l) - a bit less space (-4l vs 21 brothers), but very easy to mount and take off too - literally it takes 30 seconds.. And now I am taking bags with me into the room. My only concern is that the base is quite sharp on edges and will scratch your frame or plastics (you need to protect the whole surface with something). And my tower was not Rade Garage - it is Adventure Bike from Belgium. And yes, I was working on it with my good friend and we did it ourselves. I believe it is doable in one weekend if you are not even experienced with mechanics. Cheers!

Hey there and thank your the comment. Fun fact, the fuel consumption is very different on this bike: I was able to get down to 3,4 l/100km in Morroco where it was a very slow kind of easy riding. 4,3-4,5 is my everyday consumption. 5,5 in on highway with 130km/h set on cruse on regular fuel (and regular is 95 octanes here in Poland, premium is 98) - it is working a bit north of 5k rpm on 6th gear (red line is at 9k rpm, so you still have plenty of space for acceleration). No issues with high fender whatsoever at highway speeds. No worries. Cheers!

That is interesting - as I see in the 2023 Manual (23_3214754_en_OM.pdf), page 97, 13.9 Checking the chain tension, point #1: Raise motorcycle with rear lifting gear (page 94). So as per User Manual to my bike - it it not on the side stand. Best!
Nice video. I am an experienced OsmAnd user ... used it for overland travel. A couple of points for viewers. If loading a GPX file and wanting turn by turn, navigation instructions then suggest you select the 'Attach to Roads' option otherwise every bend in a straight road will be an instruction rather than the real turn x kms ahead. Also OsmAnd has a pre-built Motorcycle profile. It would be better to edit this one to be your preferred offroad bike profile. The other powerful things in OsmAnd I find very useful are POI display like camp sites, fuel etc .... and 'Plan Route' or just navigate on demand to a destination and let it identify the offroad tracks with true turn by turn navigation. Love OsmAnd ❤

I will test 'attach to roads' feature this weekend - most of my time using the app is following .gpx tracks off-road, so I wonder how will it work ("attach to roads _off-road_ ;) ). And this is super interesting - do you know what are the default differenced between car profile and motorcycle profile? Best regards!
@CykloGamonie welcome ... the profile differences are things like vehicle parameters which is taken into account by the routing engine. Best to do a side by side profile comparison of each of the standard profiles.

very good, honest review. I can completely follow your path to get there. I drive Norden 901. I stress the bike. I did some TET sections in northern Italy and ACT Italy. So far minor issues with bike.

No heat issues? Everyone says its roasts your legs alive? I commute, tour and ride offroad and my current GS is a little warm on my legs when in the city or very slow rocky sections but Ive heard this bike completely roasts you.

Both bikes generate a lot of heat due to the Euro 5 emissions standard and large catalytic converter, especially when riding slowly or at stops. So yes, heat is an issue, but with current emission regulations it will probably be something we need to get used to... :/

I was in Morocco, I was riding when there was 36 degrees C on the highway and still it was business as usual.
@@CykloGamonieThank you so much for the reply. And I havent ridden any 890 yet, but I guess that the heat felt is the airflow directed by the radiator fans. That is what I see and guess diving into the design. So, unless the fans run, no heat is felt.
that could be true. I can surely say - heat is noticeable, but (at least for me) not an issue. It was much worse on Norden 901 - practically same bike, but heat management very different. Best! :)
10:16 These ARE BarkBusters, just with OEM plastics. BB makes them for KTM to sell as their own part. You can buy BB plastics and they will fit just fine, since the hardware is just stock BarkBusters.

Hey! A nice review! I have the same bike, and the only thing that made me look for an improvement was the engine vibration felt on a handlebars, especially when I am on a highway with a speed above 120kmph. I installed PDS with a little change. However, when I added the accessory bar end weight, it improved significantly overall comfort! I use barkbuster, so I went for their external bar end weight. I bought this app, as much as it is old fashioned, for power users it is super nice! for light users - like my wife - it is almost "no no" comparing to Google Maps - simply OSMAnd is too difficult for her. Unless I set it up for her then she can easily follow it.
My rear only lasted 2,000 km ! However I do give it a hard time both on tarmac and trails ! The tarmac here is Portugal is grippy ! (but abrasive ) Off road , I’m often flat wide open , with the traction control making sure the rear doesn’t spin too much !
2K sounds like really heavy use :) And now I also understand some manufactures producing a much harder tyres too (like Mitas). Thank you for the comment and best regards from Poland :)
Hi, Great video! I have been messing around with osmand and have a question. do you always have to download an already existing gpx file to get the app to route along trails? is it possible to get the app to create a route using trails? much like kamoot does for mtb trails. if its not possible with osmand is there an app that does this? as in pick your destination and let the app suggest an off road route?
Hey there, thank you for the comment and the question. I am not aware if OsmAnd can create a route (+navigation) along already exiting trails that are on the map... I assume that if you would choose 'walking' as a profile and select your destination that is on the other end of the trail... that might work, but I have no idea if there is a toggle to "follow that trail" in the options. the low speed clunk is the steering head loose. loosen triple tree clamps before tightening. retighten all to spec.

I have been using it on Android mobile. My preference is route tracing and storing the track for future reference. It is great for Off road trekking, hiking as well as tourism in new cities. File size of downloaded maps is very low as compared to that of Google maps which contain a lot of unnecessary data.. I move in hired vehicles or public transport so navigation direction requirement from a map is not at all required.
+1 When driving a car from point A to point B I still prefer Google Maps navigation, but for off-road + offline + .gpx following I haven't found anything better than OsmAnd+. Cheers!
The clunk at low speed with front braking is probably the head tube. This is a known issue as it loosens up over the first 500-1000 kms and develops play. I had this issue with mine and they tightened it back up at the first service. You can do it yourself, but you need the bike supported with the front wheel off the ground.

Rafał, to jeszcze inaczej zapytam. Sam mam kanał więc wiem, komentarze w cenie😊. Jedziesz jutro na TET POLSKA w garażu stoją 701 i 890 . Co bierzesz dzisiaj? Analogicznie, na przykład., jedziesz TETem na Nordcap , nie wiesz jak będzie. Co bierzesz?
a to dobre pytanie! Jeśli jechałbym z całym sprzętem do campingu, to pewnie chętniej zrobiłbym polski TET na 890. W tym tygodniu jadę na krótki wypad z namiotem i całym szpejem do biwakowania i cieszę się, że pojadę 890tką. Jeśli to byłaby jedno-, dwudniowa wycieczka w wersji light ze spaniem na kwaterach -> chętniej na 701. Ale już na Nordkapp tylko i wyłącznie 890. Jechałem do Rumunii i z powrtotem na 701 - da radę to zrobić, ale... można wygodniej. Ja już dobiegam do 50tki, więc pewne aspekty związane z wygodą zaczynają nabierać znaczenia. Ważne jest też to, czy jedziesz sam czy w towarzystwie. A jeśli w towarzystwie, to jakie towarzystwo ma moto. Bo jeśli oni są też na siglach, to nikt nie będzie cisnął zbyt szybko na możliwości 701, ale jak już mają twiny, to będąc na 701 zwalniasz grupę (tak, ja wiem, można na tym moto pojechać szybko, ale po pierwsze to będzie strach w oczach, dojedziesz roztrzęsiony i tankowanie będzie co 150km). Myślę, że jazdy testowe dużo Ci wyjaśnią. Jeśli mogę podpowiedzieć, to też też 690 na autostradę i zobacz, czy przy 120-130 km/h nie ma dla Ciebie za dużo wibracji (mi od nich drętwiały ręce, więc zakładałem PHDS i było trochę lepiej). No i kanapa - w 690/701 to jest duży temat przy dłuższych wyprawach. Na 890 spędziłem 2 tyg w Maroko i ani razu nie było problemu z siedzeniem...

dzisiaj wpadł mi w oko artykuł na jednej ze stron opisujących platformę 690/701 i zgadzam się ze stwierdzeniem: "motocykl został stworzony z myślą o jednodniowych wycieczkach, więc jeśli przerobisz go na motocykl turystyczny ADV i okaże się niewygodny, możesz winić tylko siebie..." - tak dokładnie, nic dodać nic ująć :)
Jestem Tobie niezmiernie wdzięczny za pamięć i dodatkowe informacje. Wykorzystam Twoją cierpliwość i zadam jeszcze jedno pytanie. O Hondzie. Znam jej ograniczenia, ale chciałbym je pominąć. Wielu ludzi na Hondzie jeździ po świecie, pewnie ze względu na zaufanie i możliwość napraw. Jednak w pewnych aspektach jest podobna do 701 ( wąska kanapa, wielkość) . Czy można zatem wysnuć wniosek, że gdybym zdecydował się pojechać Hondą w długą podróż to równie dobrze, a może i lepiej będzie mi na 690 KTM?

Hej, jeszcze w tym roku będe kupował motocykl, najpierw mial być KTM 890 a później KTM 690. Czy wg Ciebie jest duża różnica w jeździe off road między nimi? U mnie z pewnością jest to proporcja 80 _ 20 na korzyść off. Przed sprzedażą 701 mówiłeś, że po próbach innych motocykli wracałeś do swojej 701 jak do roweru. Czy tu też jest taka różnica? dzięki Mirek. Jeśli faktycznie 80% czasu (lub przebiegu) będziesz spędzał w offie, to 690/701 będzie dobrym wyborem. Ja sprzedałem 701 tylko dlatego, że coraz więcej jeździłem dwupasmówkami, a czasem także z pasażerem. Wtedy 890 jest zdecydowanie lepsza niż 690/701. Ale jeśli Ty głównie jeździsz solo i w offie, to 690/701 da Ci mnóstwo frajdy. Czy między 701 a 890 jest duża różnica - w wolnych manewrach z pewnością tak, na korzyść 701. Ale jak już jadę 890 z prędkością większą niż 10km/h, to wrażenia z jazdy są zbliżone do 701. Dodam tylko, że nie jestem jakimś harpaganem w offie - jeżdżę w trasy typu TET czy ACT, czyli jest to takie offroadowanie typu adventure, a nie hard. Powodzenia w wyborach - oba motocykle są absolutnie super.

I po długich rozterkach 890 czy 690 podjąłem decyzję. Idę taką drogą jak Ty Będzie 690 KTM Enduro R. Mam dwa pytania. Czy ten hiszpański wynalazek paliwowy naprawdę zmniejszył skłonność do gaśnięcia moto na niskich obrotach. Średnio to lubię w tym moto. Czy zmiana wydechu też w tym pomaga Czy tylko jest głośniej?
@@kemirsz sorry za późną odpowiedź ale byłem trochę wyjęty z rzeczywistości. Jeśli chodzi o fuel dongle to są bardzo różne opinie. Z moich doświadczeń wynika że przy standardowym wydechu fuel dongle pomaga ale trzeba liczyć się ze wzrostem zużycia paliwa. Jeśli jednak zmienisz układ wydechowy, a zwłaszcza końcówkę wydechu, wtedy fuel dongle nie jest już potrzebny. Tylko wtedy wiadomo będzie trochę głośniej niż z fabrycznym wydechem, ale prawda jest też taka że fabryczny wydech bardzo ale to bardzo się grzeje.

Good video. I liked that you explained the fuel. It's nice to be confirmed of my own conclusions. I even went down a tooth on my drive camshaft at 15000km, and I highly recommend it, "recommended bt Chris Birch" that is what he runs on his 890. I've got 20000km now with 1/3 offroad and have not had any issues other than ones I caused myself.

Jestem w trakcie zmiany motocykla i w grę wchodzi właśnie 890, 690 lub Tenerka. Wiem, że miałeś 690. Mam podobny wzrost do twojego i jestem ciekawy, czy nie jest to zbyt wysoki motocykl. Czy różnica w wadze po zmianie motocykla nie jest dyskwalifikująca dla 890?
Hej Tomek i dzięki za pytania. Jeśli chodzi o wysokość siodła w 890, to jest ono jednak trochę niżej niż w 701 (879mm vs 925mm). Przy moich 180cm wzrostu na obu motocyklach ogólnie podpieram się jedną nogą... ale tę niewielką różnicę jednak czuć na korzyść 890. Waga to zagadkowa sprawa - bo przy wolnych manewrach w garażu 890 wydaje się być krową w porównaniu do 701, ale jak już jedziesz więcej niż 10km/h, to różnice są zaskakująco minimalne. Także to zdecydowanie nie jest element dyskwalifikujący. W video zapomniałem o jednej rzeczy - ten silnik to piec, latem katalizator mocno grzeje w buty. Można usunąć, ale jeśli podróżuje się sporo przez Niemcy czy Austrię - to może kiedyś być kłopot. Z moich doświadczeń z oboma maszynami: 690/701 jest doskonała do jazdy w offie, ale na dłuższe przeloty autostradowe jest dość męcząca, zwłaszcza jeśli jedziesz w towarzystwie, które lubi przelotową powyżej 120 km/h. 890 nie jest tak poręczna w offie jak 701, ale nie ma dramatu. Trzeba ćwiczyć technikę jazdy i wszystko na tym motocyklu da się zrobić. Natomiast jest to o wiele bardziej uniwersalny moto niż 701. Jeśli tylko masz taką możliwość, weź oba na jazdy testowe. Jakiś czas temu KTM w Warszawie na Prymasa miał oba te sprzęty do testów. A jakbym mógł jeszcze jakoś pomóc, pisz śmiało. Pozdro!

wiesz, co - w sumie oba mocno grzeją przez Euro5, ale 890 grzeje wyjątkowo intensywnie. Fajnie, że będziesz miał opcje pojeździć testowo. Nomen omen moja 890 pochodzi właśnie od dealera ze Szczecina (moto46) :)
Great video, I just cant navigate according to my gpx tracks, because it says I still need to insert a finish point in the navigation menu, even when I clicked "follow track" and selected my gpx track. Any ideas?
Hey Jakub, thank you for the comment. That is very strange as probably all gpx files have a finish point, right? I also assume you have tested this with downloaded ready-to-use tracks like TET? if those are custom gpx'es - my only idea is to check to gpx track with the site gpx.studio.

Hey James and thank you for the question. After two years on Husky 701 with seat height at 925 mm, KTM with 879mm seems a bit more manageable, but without a doubt this is not a bike you can comfortably put two feet down on the ground (at least I can't). I've learnt to use one leg for all situations, also in off-road stuff. Confidence level is much lower than on my CRF250, but it is not discouraging me from riding ;) Best!
You can also shut the cruise control off by pushing the throttle a tiny bit back past the rest position. Easy. You're welcome. ;-)

For me, purchasing a modded bike depends on the mods. If the mods are high quality and well thought out, which are the kind of mods I would do myself, then I value a modded bike. But if they are just for looks and of low quality, I won’t buy the bike - even if it is cheaper - because they indicate to me that the owner may have not taken care in maintenance. An example of mods that indicate low quality to me is a bike loaded with Tusk parts. Or a bike that you can’t even tell what manufacturer brand it is anymore. Those are hard passes for me
Yeah, you are right. My experience from selling 701 with (I agree, in my opinion ;) reasonable and high quality mods was quite bad, but overall I absolutely agree with your point of view. Thank you for the comment, best!
If you value freedom, the random alcohol test you experienced was a bad thing! Freedom requires an ‘innocent until proven guilty’ basis - which means one must be reasonably suspected of a crime before having to prove your innocence. What you experienced was a ‘guilty until proven innocent’ scenario - where are you had to prove your innocence before you even suspected of a crime. This is a threat to freedom - because of how easily it can be weaponized and invisibly used in corruption. I will definitely never visit that country
I believe this is a very twisted point of view on freedom... There are far too many drunk drivers on the roads, I wish for even more random controls like that to filter those drunk drivers out and take their licences away too...
