I SOLD my AI startup for $65,000 (I made it in 48h)
มุมมอง 150K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
I made an AI startup in 48 hours and sold it for $65,000 just 3 months later. Enough savings for at least one year. You only need to win once 😄 🔗 My projects: jeannen.com/apps 🚀 Facebook Ads for SaaS: makerads.guide 💡 Free Newsletter to learn marketing: jeannen.beehiiv.com 🐦 Twitter: nico_jeannen 👔 LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/nico-jeannen Acquire's Website to sell your startup: ac...
When I hear all these people how low they were on money and then one day they woke up and in just 48 hours they made a website with only 3 months coding experience and sold it for a tone of cash...anyway, good for you brother.
Making a website isn't hard, what's hard is making it profitable :) Been in the game for over 7 years now and I fail more often than I win
Amazing video, man! Congrats on achieving your goal-it’s super inspiring. I’m pumped to take on this challenge myself with the same 48-hour timeframe starting on Nov 7. I just want to see what I can create in such a short time! Only thing is, I’m still looking for the perfect idea, so I’d love to hear any suggestions from you all. I’m thinking of something fun, a bit challenging, but still doable within 48 hours. Drop any ideas you have-I’ll pick one and dive right in. Thanks in advance for any thoughts, and let’s see what happens!
@@SurajJaiswal-w1n good luck! :)
Thanks man!
Hm besides the sales learnings, nice ride on the AI train, not really a bummer, but some idiot buyed it.
seen your link on reddit and thought id subscribe, awesome video man 👍🏻
Congrats man. So proud of your exit. All the best for your next venture!
My situation is similar to yours
Will you be my mentor

This is really inspirational. Was this a very technical project for you? How long have you been programming? I wonder if I could do something with the very basic python knowledge that I already possess and learn what I need on the go. This would be a very specialized way of learning, I guess. Tackling something and learning as you go. What do you think about it, mate?
Thanks for your inspiration🙏
Great!! Can you make a video tutorial of how you create your videos? Recording setup, video editing etc.
I have been trying to think of ideas, some came up and vanished, I have been trying hard and best to launch something, learning to code and trying my best to do so. let's hope, things work out.
Good luck! If you need ideas I have another video on how to get ideas :)
@@Jeannen I watched the second video, great insight
@@MWT23 Glad you like it! 😁
Great video Nico, value packed! The audio is great, what mic are you using?
Thanks! I use a Rode Videomic II :)
What you are doing here, Nico? Is the cheese completed 😂😂
Not yet!
@@Jeannen hope you finish it by 2030 😂
the poor customer,... if he see this video...
What?
I've seen you on marc lou's site and you were very interesting. Now your video was reccoemended and Im glad I've watched it. Cheers!
Thanks a lot! 😁
I like that you have a piece of knowledge from many areas and you show how all work together
Congrats, I've read through your blog, precious advice out there. I have one question what programming stack did you use ? do you think it's worth it to make some kind of web app that is powered by AI ? specially considering the cost of openAI API
JavaScript all the way! You can do everything with it :)
Your video was really motivating sir. Thanks a lot for this.
Thanks!!
Best first TH-cam video I have seen. You earned a subscriber my friend. Post quality not quantity. I’ll be here for it just please don’t post a bunch of crap videos. I would be honored to say I was a day one
@@Braden-te2qu thanks a lot!! And yes, that’s why I post a video per month or less, I’d rather spend lots of time making something really nice than lots of crap
And the real value: 0. I am not interested to waste my time with scammers.
@@lonesomewalker wdym, the real value is $65,000, I sold it for this price
@@Jeannen Yeah, well, the Ponzi schemes also collect a lot of money, but they are not worth the price. Sorry bro, videos like this make TH-cam a shittier place.
Hey Nico, congrats on your success as an indie founder and thanks a ton for sharing your insights/experience, you’re sharing some real gems here on TH-cam and your website 🙏🏼 Question for you regarding the 4th method (improving something 10x with less features/more focus): do you think this is applicable if the existing product with multiple features (specifically a SaaS) is already inexpensive (like $8/month)? Would customers actually pay more for a single one of those features?
Thanks a lot! If you can make the app/feature better then yes If the existing app has a terrible UI then yes, nice UI is a feature people can pay more for
Great Video
You are sooo inspiring!
Thanks!!
Hey Nico ! great video, very inspiring, please continue sharing your journey here. why just 3 videos on your channel ? we need your content on youtube more.
I have an old one in French from when I started 7 years ago but it's not very interesting haha Working on more videos soon :)
Very good very, however ( don't take this personally ) your pronunciation of " ideas " need improvement. You're saying " ID's " instead. Apart from that, great video, thanks.
Yes, I know 😅
This video absolute banger 🔥, what tech stack are you currently using?
Thanks 😄 Right now I use Nuxt + Tailwind, but I started everything in Node + vanilla css/html/js :)
I got an idea, what if i made this video into a product so indie-hackers would be able to validate their ideas using this method. Although I can't think of monetizing it though, it will just be a free tool :(
Haha I had the same kind of idea-a sort of “automated Mom Test” after reading the book (basically customer surveys to surface their biggest pain points resulting in what to build).
I originally planned to make a free website to go with the video haha, but I didn't had time for that yet
Landed on a goldmine 💰 Keep it coming 🚀
Thanks a lot 😄
damn, the number of title and thumnail changes in span of 8 days are too damn high!
I'm split-testing a lot of them 😆 TH-cam shadowbanned me so I need to have a huge CTR to get any chance of having the video seen
@@Jeannen ooh that's sad, yeah I checked your video views are way lower then your average views. Also nice idea we're building a product so we were too focus on single thing now we are in process of making other products and check the users reaction first
Grantdocks is a great tool if you need funding to start your business.
How ?
I need $34k for my business.
Good Morning Tylor , i just started my veteran owned landscaping company,, we are already up and running with a decent amount of large commercial contracts secured, my issue is i have funded everything out of pocket and i'm nearly out of money... Should the grantdocks be able to help vets secure funding?
Yes
You are my inspiration.
Nico, you're funny dude. 😂
what happened at 6:12? is this video AI too??
Premiere Pro's Morph Cut haha
Dude you said you learn coding in 2 month ,how ?
Yes :) Will make a video about it but here is the blog post about it: jeannen.com/blog/learning-code-and-being-profitable-in-a-year
Just wanna note that your Linkedin profile is not active, so I think there's no need to include it in description. Also I think email list is the most valuable thing, you can prioritize the link to subscribe your newsletter over other links (build more trust with long-form content = easier to sell the rest like Makerads) It's also logical: people engage with your video, they might wanna know more insights from you, which should be exclusively included in the newsletter
Key insight @ 8:25 -- give your ideas a rating for perceived value, scale, technical skills, and distribution, then x3 the distribution because it's the most important component. Use this score to prioritize your startup ideas
Super vidéo !
Merci!
I call it pure BS
Too bad for you then, it won't change anything for me :)
Another great video! Thank you! ;-)
The video editing on this is great. And the content is great! Can't wait to see how far your channel grows after your 100th video!
Thanks a lot 😄
Great video, thanks :)
Where did you get all this knowledge from?
Failing over and over again, I launched over 30-40 projects in 7 years I don’t even remember them all But eventually you learn what don’t works so you can focus on what works :)
Hey Nico , very good video . I can do better editing in your videos which can help you to get more engagement in your videos . Pls lmk what do you think ?
Better is a long shot considering how much work is needed for a video, but shoot me a DM on Twitter with examples of similar videos you’ve done and we’ll see :)
also we just need to keep building whatever people says.
