'When you know who's knocking but try your hardest not to answer.' This is a short piece in four movements written using minimalist serialism. It is scored for cello, celeste, guitar, xylophone and percussion. Score and parts are available for anyone who wants to have a go at performing it. May I suggest, with some contemporary dance?

'We Wunt Be Druv' is a Sussex motto and this piece for Brass Band depicts the celebrations of the famous Lewes bonfire. It opens with the procession of the bonfire societies with the middle section paying homage to the horrendous floods of the year 2000 which decimated parts of the town.
