Ragi Mixed seeds Crackers | Weightloss Mathri | PCOS snack
Ragi Mixed Seeds Cracker, a perfect snack for PCOS, Thyroid, Cholesterol, and weightloss journeys.
INGREDIENTS 👇
Ragi flour- 2 cups
Whole wheat flour- 1/2 cup or 4 tblsp
Ghee- 4 tblspn
Sesame seeds- 8 tblspn
Flaxseeds- 4 tblspn
Chia seeds- 4 tblspn
Sunflower seeds- 4 tblspn
Pumpkin seeds- 4 tblspn
Coriander seeds- 1/2 tblspn
Fennel seeds- 1/2 tblspn
Black pepper- 8-9 or 1/4 tblspn
Salt to taste
Luke warm water- 1/4 cup
Steps:
1) Soak chia seeds with 4X water for 10-15 mins
2) Roast 4-4 tblspn sesame seeds and flaxseeds and grind them coarsely
3) Roast 1/2 tblspn coriander seeds, fennel seeds, and 1/4 tspn black pepper sesame seeds and flaxseeds and grind them coarsely
4) Now in a ragi flour, add wheat flour, and all the ingredients as shown in the video and prepare a soft and tight dough.
5) Make Chapati out of it and cut it in any shape, sprinkle some sesame seeds, fork it and arrange them on the greased baking tray.
6) Set the microwave in convection mode at 180° for 10 mins first and preheat it. Then place the baking tray and set again for 35-40 mins. Don't forget to flip them after 15 mins and bake both sides well.
7) Let them cool down after baking and store it in an airtight container for up to 1 month.

    Tips for reducing insulin spikes: 1) 10 mins walk after having your meals 2) Add sprouts, salads, steamed vegetables...it can reduce insulin spikes upto 30-40% 3) Soak rice 1 hour before cooking can help lower its GI (glycemic index) 4) Leftover rice is very good in diabetic cases. Rice carbs breakdown after certain time so if possible eat rice after 6-7 hours. 5) Add Spices: Bay leaf, Cinnamon & Cumin it's reduce blood sugar levels after consuming meals and increase insulin sensitivity. 6) Add half Tblspn Ghee: Moderation Amount of ghee (1 Tblspn a day) is good in diabetic cases. It absorbs fat soluble nutrients like Curcumin, Vitamin-A, D, K etc. Also slows down the release of glucose in the blood 7) Portion control is the key: -Combine with protein sources, salads and probiotics. -1 portion of rice for 2 portions of dal, rajma, chole, paneer sabzi etc. -Sona masuri, basmati rice, and brown rice are good to go. -Green tea after your meals can drastically change your blood glucose levels.
