RefluxDoc | The Truth About Barrett's
I want to make an important point about your case, which is the fact that you have Barrett's esophagus. An important question is, “Where does Barrett's esophagus come from?” It actually is due to reflux. When reflux causes tissue erosion, the normal tissue is replaced by other types of tissue. This other type tissue is a more specialized tissue, and that's felt to be the precancerous tissue that develops called Barrett’s.
The great thing we realized when we published the 10 year data about the Stretta procedure is that by reducing your reflux we know that about 85% of the time, the Barrett's will spontaneously regress or disappear.
When we achieve the control of your reflux and the Barrett’s regresses, you will not need the follow ups. You will not need to have to continue to look at this endoscopically. We will see over time, usually it's going to happen within the first few years.
I would not be surprised if a couple of years from now, we see this tissue has just gone ahead and disappeared. How is this possible? The reason is that your lining of your gut sloughs away and is replaced by new lining every three to five days. By controlling the reflux we get rid of the inflammation at the basal lamina layer of cells, where the tissue develops and moves up from the bottom. If the Stretta procedure works and you're not refluxing anymore, there's no more inflammation in what we call the basal lamina, where there are stem cells. Thus if the stem cells are not inflamed any longer, they grow normal tissue as opposed to Barrett's tissue or cancer tissue. That is why the abnormal tissue disappears spontaneously after a Stretta procedure.

I had chronic sorethroat for 2 mos already due to LPR. I was healed using this baking soda method but i gargled it instead. It really works! No sorethroat for a month already
How many sprays and times a day is this ok to do?
I was so lucky to get cured permanently from HICH RISK HPV by *MR OBALAR* on TH-cam..❤
Is this the same as simple saline
I was so lucky to get cured permanently from HICH RISK HPV by *MR OBALAR* on TH-cam..❤
How long does this solution keep?
Where do these radiofrequency waves fall on the spectrum?
It's so nice when doctors go out of their way to help people with true solutions, no pun intended! Thank you, Dr. Noar, and God bless you and yours. ❤
Inhale while spraying? Wouldn't that make the water go up into your lungs? That's a bad thing, isn't it?
It is just a fine mist. Not a stream of water.
My lpr really only affected my breathing. No heartburn or pain. I had a terrible wheeze and was continuously on steroids(prednisone). This has been going on for years. I had both a pulmonologist and gastroenterologist that didn’t help. Finally I realized maybe a topical inhaled steroid would work. And it did. I got my pulmonologist to prescribe trelegy elipta inhaler. It’s used as a maintenance drug for asthma/copd. After years of not being able to breathe or do anything, I got my breath back!! If ur LPR is like mine and really affects breathing get ur doctor to order this med. It has turned my life around.
I think you're making around 32 oz of solution. That's not going to fit in a nasal spray bottle. I read that the water will last 1-2 weeks max before the alkalinity dissipates.
For metric, I use 1 teaspoon of bicarb for every 80ml of liquid.
Mercy, im nervous. I have the hiatial hernia and this surgery on the 27th. I have terrible acid reflux but these side effects sound terrible.
All went well. Still having issues with eating regular food. No more pasta for a long time lol. That crap stuck to my esophagus.
How do you feel now? Do you Take any medicine or with this surgery the med will be 0?
@jonmayer327 i take zero meds and can eat pretty much any food. My only caution for others is not to rush yourself with that. I did a little. Pasta was the worst to swallow. I couldn't eat for a whole day or so anything, even barely could drink water after. It got stuck to my throat. I still occasionally have issues swallowing. Just chew your food up super good once you get to that point. I have no pain or discomfort. My cuts are healed up mostly. They did 5. The biggest one with the dissolvable stuff is till there a little. Slightly sensitive. Hopefully, I'll be ready to lift normally in a week or two..
@@seven2survive Please tell me how long did you Take medicine for reflux? I am glad that you are allright and things go good for you. Thank you for your answer
@jonmayer327 i took it for a couple years day and night. It helped some but never fixed it. It was very severe. Black bile and throwing up. The doctor said too much of that can erode the esophagus and cause cancer. Plus the meds can't fix the hernia. If you have the hernia, you may just want to get it done.
There's nothing like getting back to basics to fix medical problems....love it.
After having a pneumonia and bronchitis that I suspect were both caused by LPR, I asked the gastroenterologist I had a consult with, if LPR can cause this and her answer was NO. There are no doctors who know about this and patients are getting misdiagnosed and mistreated. And despite if this knowledge being public.
I'm yet another patient who has received 0 help from the medical community. I feel so neglected and abandoned. After every meal, I have a horrible mucus cough that I feel is respiratory. I don't know what to do anymore, this is devastating. Thank you to the doctor in the video, it helped a little.
Thank you so much doctor, since a year I was struggling from these symptoms, I went to various doctors but they couldn't tell what problem I have then after researching I myself found out that I've lpr , I m using this spray since few days and I m really relieved I m feeling much more healthy ❤️ thank u for this video ❤❤❤
I can't wait to try this. Is there a possibility of long-term adverse effects from the baking soda? From too much sodium being absorbed or anything like that? Could it be bad for the lungs? Thanks in advance!
Thank you doctor for providing such a good video. I have been troubled by LPR for three years. I hope the doctor can help me. Thank you very much. 1. I always rinse my mouth with baking soda water (in the morning, after three meals, and before going to bed). Will this hurt the throat wall? I only drink a little bit of baking soda water. I think the pH value of baking soda water is Only 9, it should not hurt the throat wall. Is this correct? Thank you!
Hello everyone !! You don’t have to find it difficult to get rid of bad breath and acid reflux disease. There’s herbalist doctor who can cure you permanently from this bad breath disease with natural herbal medicine and natural diet. I was able to cure my bad breath and acid reflux disease with Dr.Emovon herbal medicine on TH-cam.....❤❤❤❤❤😢😢
How much is "some" bicarb?
I'm finally free from bad breath and white tongue after having a horrible outbreak and I feel the same way you described in your interview. Listening to you share your experience of improvement gave me the ray of hope I needed to hear. I'm glad there are people like you who simply want to help other people struggling with the same problems. Your words gave me the courage I needed to hear today to know that it is okay. I can still be myself and now enjoy my life like I'm supposed to. I am blessed to have found you, Dr. Emovon, on TH-cam.👍👍
Mine is in my nasopharynx. So would it go through my nose or mouth?
This is the only doctor who seems to know what LPR is....
I have dizziness from the acid going into Eustachian tubes. Will this work?
This doctor primary says its a worthless surgery so what should those who have severe gerd and symtoms of hh do sitt and die i don't understand this kind of doctors
I sprayed then it make me cough, I slept last night no mucus on my throat
Ratio of baking soda to alkaline water?
1 liter and 2 tablespoons
Does anyone have constant blocked nose from this? I’ve been suffering for a while and trying to figure out my issue
Hi Doc, would like to hear more about Barrett after all these years passed 🙏🏻
How long can u do this ? And is it bad for un
What if you have both symptoms? Can you spray in nose and throat?
Anyone got rid of LPR Tinnitus
Hi Doc how to stop activation please
Most of those spray bottle of nasal spray u say to dump out and use, do not unscrew and at the tip there is a tiny hole...how do we get the alkaline baking soda mixture into that bottle? Will a travel size empty bottle be ok to use for that? That won't work for spraying up the nostrils though. ???
how long should you use the same mix
Was wondering the same too, i have the nasal spray bottle but i can’t unscrew it
@@JohnNazimek in the travel size, use till its gone. Aa he said u can use as many times a day as needed.
@@boe1956 have you found a way to empty the nasal spray bottle?
@2am561 nope
Where do I get alkaline water? Most water is a pH of 7. If you add baking soda it will bump the pH up to 8 or higher, which makes it alkaline anyway. Why do I need water that is already alkaline. How are you measuring the pH?
Essentia brand alkaline water is available at Walmart. $10 for 6 pack. Also unsure about why to use that vs. regular water and baking soda. Could try regular water first and see if you get results without spending the money on alkaline? I will probably try it.
@@kellyf333 probably because all the minerals and stuff that will make things worse
@@kellyf333 I'm back at this video. Thanks dude!
i was diagnose LPR is it natural that i spit sometimes with blood?
Can you heal the throat this way ?
Why do we need to use alkaline water to make this solution when the sodium bicarbonate already alkalize the water ?
This works wonders, but how do I stop the reflux?
My biggest problem is sour taste on the tongue and in the mouth caused by LPR. Does this method help with that symptom? I am desperate
Same did you get relief
Thank you so much for this. Been suffering with LPR for 10 years that's still not being effectively treated by doctors. Just had one of my worst cases of it that started 9pm that lasted til 5AM the following morning when it finally settled just enough to sleep. I was up all night with horrendous wheezing, causing nasty coughing and throat clearing. Went to the store this morning to buy what I needed to try this because I was still wheezing heavily after waking up. Just tried it, and in minutes my wheezing has reduced by 95% after one application. The relief is incredible my throat had been torn to ribbons with everything else failing to stop it
Also, try this inhaler called trelegy elipta. I tried gargling and drinking baking soda water. It didn’t work for me. This inhaler has a topical steroid in it that really helped with wheezing and shortness of breath.
Do not inhale nasal spray like he said. It hurts and you won’t be able to take a deep breath.
