Not much as of now. I have the truck off the trailer and the cab lifted off the frame a little bit but not far enough to pull out the frame and start working on it. I don't have enough footage to post an update yet on the progress. Hopefully soon.

Yes. you probably have tan bezels. They don't really look tan though, they are more of a greenish-brown color. Almost like brownish version of Olive Drab Army green.

@@LBMCDodge yes they are a weird olive green color. Everyone calls it something different so I am never sure what the actual color is.

Thanks for the info. Gonna be a bit before I can see how the paint holds up. Ya, I do want to get rid of the stock "sea green" lights. I have noticed some people saying they are having problems dimming the interior lights because they are LED. Thanks for comments, yes, I can be serious OCD sometimes.

Good deal. Yes shipping can be a pain. I cannot really say on how the DupliColor is holding up because it isn't getting any wear and tear, as I am still working on the truck and not using it yet. I have parts from 04 to 09 on mine. Only thing original on the truck now will be the front and rear sections of the frame, the dash, engine, transmission and transfer case. On the slope now so it won't be until after Christmas I can get back to work on it.

I scrubbed/ washed the panels clean twice. Once with ScotchBrite pads and a second time with a scrub brush. Once dry I wiped them down with acetone or Duplicolor’s prep spray, wiping clean any excess. After that it was 5-6 coats of paint. Very light spray or coating each time, but heavier coats towards the ends and allowing each coat to dry before applying the next. I used Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric in flat black.

Another difference I didn’t know about. It makes sense it would run with the longer QQLB driveline without a carrier bearing since the wheel base is exactly the same. Essentially you are just trading two feet of bed space for the mega cab, the difference from the output to the rear diff would be the same. Most of the groups I follow say they cannot make a driveline for the LBMC because it is too long and the balancing issues. Since I will not be lifting much or at all, extending the carrier bearing shaft is an easy option. For what you are talk long about for your truck, I would use a stock carrier bearing driveline and get a longer one made for the rear to keep driveline angles smaller. Love the info!

Are the mounting locations the same for 3rd and 4th gen cabs?

I can see that happening. I guess I will just see how long it lasts once I get everything back together and start using it regularly. Thanks for the information.

Dupli-Color Vinyl & Fabric. I used flat black.

There are minor variations in years, but as long as it is a 4WD frame I don’t see why it would not work. The only thing you are keeping as it relates to your cab is the rearmost cab mounts.

I get back in a couple days. I just received a call yesterday my supplies have come in. I should be able to start production by the end of the week. I will keep you posted and links to order. Cheers.

I have tested them and did not have a problem. However, I am still building the truck and have not put the interior back in the cab where I would notice something odd by driving the truck every day.

Just waiting for some new material to arrive so I can start taking orders. I will post a new video with updates and links to order them.

@@francisco3601 Yes, painted. As long as you take your time and do good prep work, you should not have a problem. There are a lot of videos out there of others doing the same for other interiors. Thanks for the compliment.

TreeFeller22, I won't be back to work on these for about two weeks. When I get back, my new supplies will be waiting for me. Once I produce a couple more and verify there are no defects, I will post a video. @@jamesgeach8972 I do. I just have not posted it yet. I want to get a couple of the bezels complete for order and shipment. I am a little behind, the company I order my supplies from did not place my order yet as they like to order in bulk for Alaska. I am pretty picky and don’t have the stock Dodge gray matched exactly (I am very close) and don’t want to send anything out which does not meet customer expectations. I am sorry for the delay. I have more interest and orders than I expected. Stay tuned and keep your chain sharp, I will keep you posted.

I don’t blame you they are almost not existent anyway factory or junks yards I would t even mind if they were an off gray I would be glad the not have the flapping around in the back with my kids lol

I couldn't tell on this bed on how it was attached due to so much rust damage. I punched holes in the outer panel lip and welded it to the replacement wheelhouse where they marry up.
