What brand turbo
It was a no name China back then but pretty much what an on3 is now. I upgraded to a vs racing 7875
the speed limiters on chevys are so weird, our 5.3 lt 2018 silverado had 107, impala lt doesnt have one, 99 5.7 suburban was 98. just seems that they are all over the place with limiting. lovely sound and great truck!
How was the shifting behavior modified? How's it acting different from stock?
Shift rpm was lower stock and also the shift was softer
@@jackstoepfer1494 thanks for the reply...... So you've upped the RPM and pressure? I've shortened shift time 20% so far, just getting started with HP Tuner.

Depends. My knuckles were pretty beat and I pounded on them w sledge to get the old ball joints out. This is a really nice kit.

probably just has a cold air intake fr. And for the burnout just put your left foot on the break and give it some gas and slowly lift of brakes to warm up tires.

I'm guessing that would depend on the gearing. The 6.2 has a lot more low-mid range torque so it likely would take a 5.0 with 3.73's to wind up fast enough 0-60. If you gunned 'em both at 55 on the highway I'd probably put my money on the Ford with the top end HP of the Coyote.

Also the digital speedometer will show more than 140mph.
Gauge on my 2015 goes all the way to 200
@slycarlo8747 ,my 2015 and his 2018 goto 160 but I believe it is because that's where we moved the speed limit to.
That's is not top speed on that truck ,my son has one and will do 160mph.
I have one, it's governed to 97 MPH. Any faster, the driveshaft can come apart. Most tuners won't touch them unless you replace the driveshaft with a stronger one.
@IROC-ZL1 ,most will turn upto about 130 but will not put it on dyno and go over 100 with it.

Here is the deal. SOUNDS great, fast as hell for the size and weight. Now if GM can learn to make engines again. The 6.2l is absolute garbage. Failed lifters and broker rods galore. I can not tell you how many tapping noises I here on these trucks. They end up all replacing engine and or if under warranty which many of them are give them a new engine. Its a shame

Was it worth buying? I have been considering the kit vs machining my own flat tops.. one concern is the stops need to function so I don't put my ujoints at too much angle. Saw you mention that same thing.. supposedly the knuckles in the kit have 3/8" more material at the flat top to clear SOA leaf springs. Did you have any issues?
Yes still worth it. I don’t know what year or parts I had to begin with. Who knows. If I knew then what I know now, I’d reuse my original knuckles and not have to grind to fit anything. I used the new knuckles because mine were rough and I’m sure bent from me hammering them off. I’ve been driving and off roading w my kit for a while. Works great
What’s the compression and does it have stock injectors? I have an lq4 with milled 243s and a 220r cam that’ll be going through an 80e and np241, I wonder where I’ll be at in numbers
Guessing 9.5 - 1. Oem 6.0 pistons w 243 heads. Multi layer head gaskets. The 37 inch swampers kill my dyno numbers but any 6.0 cam 4x4 should be well over 300 wheel.

The following day. Lifter failure and the 8 speed transmission torque converter blew apart. By far, the worst trucks on the road.
Yes,true already fix trans problem and getting engine fixed ,almost ready to see how much better once on dyno.

What turbo u recommend for like 500-600 whp? Also would I need to upgrade fuel pump? I know I would need larger injectors howerver im only going to be running on 91 or e85
7675 is perfect for that power level w ls engines. You’ll need injectors for sure. Flex fuel trucks won’t need a pump. Non flex trucks will need a pump

It will go 160mph ,it has been dyno tune at a performance shop and that where the gov. Was set at. The digital speed will read past 140mph.

I used a relay. Trigger is the brake light power. Power goes to the 2step. Watch my trans brake video for the final product
@jackstoepfer1494 awesome setup man! Theoretically could i just run a simple toggle switch in line with the blue/white wire that activates/deactivates it? Also can i splice up by the pedal since that wire is there instead of trunk? Thanks!
@@ridewithrashad there is not a blue w white tracer wire at the pedal. That’s why I left it at the brake light. Yes you can toggle it

What turbo and injectors are good for 720whp?
Lowest inj I would use for that much power are 80lbers. A mid range t4 (76-80) can make that power and not break the bank.
