Interesting old place with the snooker table and some old retro equipment seen that Matsui video and TV also a 1970s tape recorder in a case and old telly's, a stack system hi-fi, and spotted 2 cans of Guinness if unopened could not tell but it looked like they might have celebrated thier last xmas there by the clues left in the snooker room, will look forward to the next video.

Nice, brief memories of this place when it was open. Shame it shut.

Reminds me of the time I went to do a photoshoot in St Georges Asylum in Northumberland. We were going to be allowed in by security as Uni students but it was absolutely full of asbestos. Went to St Mary's and snuck in instead...was amazing until it was pitch black and we got chased out 😂

Looks like any valuable stuff has long been taken. Its a shame to see these houses just go to ruins. Thanks for the upload

Where the entrance

Worked there from 1976-1999. The portable conveyor you saw at the beginning of the video was used to empty the coal bunkers during an outage. (You can see the hatches just above the coal feeders later on in the video). The conveyor took it from the bunker being emptied up to a fixed conveyor that ran the whole length of the feeder floor (the 42 foot level if I'm not mistaken). It was then discharged into a hopper outside where it was dumped into lorries and taken back to the coal plant. Even though it's been a long time, I'm still familiar with most of the equipment there, so feel free to ask me any questions.

No wonder the country is bankrupt. That hospital needed work doing but served us well. I took so many sick and injured patients there. The new replacement hospital has less beds. Brilliant planning from the nuggets called politicians and councillors. I was myself treated there after a road traffic collision. Outstanding care. Well done to all that worked them corridors. We can’t thank you enough.

May I politely suggest you focus more slowly. The camera does seem to whizz all over the place like your scanning the room rather than focusing on what’s in it. Just my personal opinion. No hurt meant

Another interesting place just left with everything as it was some nice retro TVs there as well as the classic car toys and trains etc and them Scottish notes are genuine can be changed at the bank if still in circulation, I must say I aint seen any for a good few years now, will look forward to next video.

Well that is unbelievable especially the condition of the place and the items was begining to think you had got into Sandringham where are the owners? have they been jailed for tax fraud? very unusual, very nice place though I did spot a 1975 Sanyo Music centre same as one my parents used to have in one of the rooms in the early part of the video, and even a car left behind someone has got to be returning to claim all this surely if not it's crazy but yeah in a word weird but amazing will look forward to the next video.
