We're a couple from the UK who LOVE travel and adventure.

BAMBOO BOAT RIDE at Trang An Grottoes, Ninh Binh
In this one, we go on a serene 2.5 hour bamboo boat ride through the picturesque Trang An Grottoes, taking in the beautiful countryside scenery and going through several caves. We chose route number three in order to ride through Dot Cave, the longest cave in the region at 1000 meters long.

Hello George and Charlie, Greetings from Australia. Great vid. very nice pictures. You do have a problem with your Audio though. The background music is too loud and makes it impossible to hear what your saying .... it was especially bad in the caves at Trang An. And at the end where you were pointing out where you stayed. Please dont take these comments the wrong way Im just pointing it out to help in future vids. Keep up the good work. Max.

Looks like an awesome trip! I'm hoping to make a trip to Dominical soon too, thanks for the walkthrough tour. Some beginner tips for surfing: Try to catch a few waves lying down first. Get a feel for how the wave picks you up and carries you. Then, once you feel comfortable, wait until the wave starts to take you before you try to pop-up (stand up). You're trying to jump to your feet before you have any momentum, which makes it very hard to balance, kinda like trying to balance on a bike when you're not moving. Wait until you're moving, then the board will feel more stable under your feet. Enjoy your travels!

Hi quick question when you went to Bantayan island did you have to pay a entrance fee? Or is it just like the boat fee to go from the top of Cebu island to Malapascau? Ps what was the name of place you stayed in at Bantayan?
Hi Nigel Jenkins, I think we paid a very small fee when arriving on Bantayan and the place we stayed was called Budyong Beach Resort. We’d had a recommendation for the Kota beach resort nearby but Budyong seemed better value so we’d definitely recommend staying there, especially if you want a nice sea view. Hope this helps! Are you going anywhere else in the Philippines?
@@georgeandcharlie5867 thanks so much for the advice much appreciated. Yeah going to be in Philippines middle of April and am going to Malapascau and Bantayan islands not sure which one first then bit of touring around Cebu island in the south part
Nigel Jenkins sounds great! We’d recommend Siquijor in the south and Apo Island for diving / snorkling. The Kalanggaman trip from Malapascua that we did in this video was amazing too. Also, karaoke with locals is always a great laugh wherever you are.

Nigel Jenkins It definitely felt like there’s a bit more going on on Malapascua so depends if you wana chill first or after. We loved the Monad Shoal dive btw if you dive. There was some other spectacular diving and snorkling to be had off Malapascua too, which we didn’t capture in this video.

I tried to show a friend what ramsgate was like - came across your video "a night in ramsgate" - what a load of bollocks - a night spent in margate and thirty seconds in ramsgate during the day and only the harbour - yeah great video - dont bother next time just go to margate and pretend its ramsgate - that or rename your video to a partial night in margate and next to bugger all time in ramsgate - dont come again just post videos of margate and foots cray coz you obviously enjoyed your time there more - oh yeah your a DFL - no surprise
Hi! We viewed this vlog just before visiting Barcelona. I have to say every where you went we went and loved it. I guess we have similar tastes.( we did bar 1881, SaGrada di familia, Barcelona soccer game, and Tapeo) Highly recommend the food/bars you visited and also would recommend the area of borne in the gothic quarter the places there are awesome.

Hey OneWorld! Thanks for the feedback! It takes about 2.5 hours and cost us around £30ish not £30 each. So it’s a great option if the weather is good but these small boats don’t run in bad weather. We’ve also heard that they charge more to go the other way, from Malapascua to Bantayan FYI. Enjoy! You’ll love it

Nice vlog of my hometown Ramsgate, shame the battery died, always carry a spare not easy getting a youtube channel off the ground but good work loo forward to seeing more. I only shoot vlogs with a gopro at the moment but i do have it on a gimbal now with a external mic, makes the world of difference , worth the investment
Lee Pelling thanks for the feedback, much appreciated! We have an external mike but find it attract’s attention to us filming especially when abroad and we usually prefer to keep things a little more discreet. Plus it makes the setup more bulky in general. A gimbal is on our wish-list though. Would you recommend the one you use with your GoPro? We love Ramsgate and tend to go at least a couple of times a year. Should be back around June. Let us know if you have any restaurant reccos!

I take your point about the external mic but for me the quality of audio is far better and they are getting smaller , Rode just released the Rode Wireless go, its tiny ! I notice you say you like spicy , have you tried Flavours by Kuma in Effingham street. I thought it was really good ! www.flavoursbykumar.co.uk/ worth a try
