Motion is lotion lol That's good. Thanks for the lesson, I never would've thought about using these for 15 minutes! I'd love more tips on how to get started and figuring out how to get them to not touch.
I've had these for over 40 years and never new what they were for. Today I found out what they do. I watched your video and I am loving it. You were fun to do it with. Thanks
Thanks for explaining how to use this item! I received a similar one along with an electric hand massager that I ordered. They sent a chart about acupuncture points in the hands, but know explanation on how to use the roller at all.
these balls just made me realize how horrible control i have over my fingers lol
What's their size, please?
Great stuff
Is that actually real?
Where's your website? I want to order!
I want to know also! No website and I want another mug! What happen?

I am not only happy am alive but also glad that "Dr Madida" was able treat and cure me with his herbal medication of my parosmia, Meniere disease and Parkinson disease(PD) with their herbal treatment🌿🌿🌿.
He said "my balls will drop from my hand" hahahaha
I got one years ago, I still have them but I never thought they were toys and I got it because it would look cool as a decoration but now that I know they are fidget toy balls I am going to start playing them daily for my anxiety 😂
The balls in this video, do they have chimes?
I only have one set on the first exercise you said don't go fast but you seem like you're going very fast
you cannot be found. I love your mugs bought them when you first announced them. Wanted to get some new ones and all your pages are "not found" Where did you go?????

fyi they are not supposed clack, the balls are supposed maintain contact the entire time
There are many correct ways to use Baoding balls, including touching, clanking, and no-touch.
Hey everyone, Ideally, the balls should not clack together, but that just takes practice. You can do them so that the balls do touch constantly, or do not touch constantly. If they are clacking, you can try slowing down and doing your best to keep the balls either apart or together. Good luck!
@@JamberHands Clacking the balls allows a practitioner to infinitely vary the rhythm, sounds and physical feedback to facilitate meditative focus. Touch and no touch are only two small endpoints on a very long line.
@@AtHomeTacticalDefense Thank you for the explanation. You bring up a great point that it is more than just the physicality of the balls that are in play here.
@@JamberHands You are welcome. Try to maintain a steady clacking rhythm without all of your attention being on the rhythm. Change the rhythm. A clack every half revolution, a single clack with a slide feel, etc. Focus on maintaining a steady rhythm. Enjoy! 😊
I think I need smaller balls. It's okay, I'll work with what I have. 😆
Smaller balls are easier to use, so if you can slowly work with larger balls, then it's better for your hand. Good luck.
most definitely found going backwards on my Non-Dom hand much easier - perhaps less muscle programing to overcome?
That may be exactly the reason. Good luck!
Great video Straight to the point. Ive had a pair displayed in my living room for years but have never played around with them but for maybe a few seconds. Something possessed me to look up a tutorial this morning and glad I did. Nice lil hand and forearm burn in the best way. Good stuff.
I'm so glad that you found our videos helpful. I've been messing around with Baoding balls since I was about 12 years old. They are so great for our hands, and for our minds. We're actually working on re-starting some LIVE virtual Baoding Ball classes again. Possibly in the coming month or so. You get more info at www.mymotioncoach.com.
you're cute
Thanks.

Excellent advice!
Weakling. That jar opener is a piece of crap
Wow - nice comment. Turns out that thousands of people use that jar opener every day, and love it. Myself included. And my hands are extremely strong.
Just keeping it real skippy. That red one is junk. Limited size lids it can be used on, doesn’t grip well. If you don’t have arthritis you’d be better off putting dry rice in a bowl, sticking your hands into it, then opening and closing them to strengthen your muscles. Anyhoo, your comment about it was hard after opening the first jar had my wife laughing.
Just found mine. Was playing with them before I found your video. Broke both wrists and seven week after putting in plates. looking for information on how this might help the wrist movement.
I hope our videos help. Good luck!
Thanks so much Alan! I have chimes but didn't have a clue how to use them. Now I do and woa, I need a second set of chimes so I can really get the blood pumping and muscles warmed up. This seriously even makes your arms feel great. I'm an electrical engineer who took two bioengineering course in college and took physiology so the intricacies of the body meeting engineering is such an underrated combo of technology and health! Never knew chime handling is such an underrated form of exercise! ⚽⚽ ⚽⚽
My pleasure. I'm so glad that your baoding balls and our videos can help your hands feel better! And awesome combo of bioeng'ng and physiology. Love it!
My hands are small, does it matter?
If your hands are smaller, then you can start with a smaller set of baoding balls. However, you can also start with the medium chiming balls, and slowly work on the skills. The smaller balls usually do not come with chimes. They are usually solid metal, which means they are a little heavier (which is more of a workout for your hands).
It is easy for large hands and small balls... I have XXS hands and small balls which would be XL balls for your hands. How would you manage? I want to see it.
Hi. The larger the ball is (relative to your hand), the more difficult the exercise is (and the better for your hands!). So, if you have very small hands, and are using smaller balls, which are still large compared to your hands, then you would do all the same exercises. Just take your time, and you can build up amazing coordination and dexterity. The trick is to do a little bit every day (or every few days). Good luck!
What about the size? 1”. 1.5” or 2”
Hi Gordon - we recommend the 1.5" hollow chiming mediation balls. Here's the link to our recommended Baoding balls: www.jamber.com/collections/hand-care-products/products/chiming-meditation-balls Thanks.
I’m using 2” steel and copper, 2” tungsten, 2.5” solid steel, and 3” solid steel.
Quit showing off we know you are good but when we are just starting and you are going 10x faster we feel like idiots. I coached several sports for years in addition to being a physical education teacher. I would never do what you do to teach anything. Even if you don’t go at total beginner speed it needs to be very slow and gradually increase speed. You can always have videos for advanced students. Plus when you slow down it’s much easier to see technique. To show technique once and then go at fast speeds demoralizes a lot of people especially 76 year olds like me😊
There is a 0.25x playback option on the video. That should help.
Hi - thank you for the feedback. I tried to create videos that would help at all levels, but you bring up a great point. I'll keep this in mind for future videos. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing the tip of 0.25x speed or just slower playback in general. You can adjust playback speed by clicking on the SETTINGS icon (bottom right of screen of the video you're watching, looks like a gear sprocket), then clicking on PLAYBACK SPEED.
MY FINGER JOINTS HURT WATCHING THIS :(
You should give HAND YOGA a try. You might really like it. It is designed to strengthen and stretch arthritic sore hands. You can check it out at www.mymotioncoach.com. We've done all sorts of classes for hands - these Baoding ball classes, hand strengthening classes, hand yoga, etc. Good luck!
Is it helpful for hand tremors???
Yes. It will help to strengthen your hands, giving you more control. Also consider Hand Yoga for your hands. www.mymotioncoach.com.
How do you avoid stiffness in your elbows? I have used baoding balls off and on for several years, but I always find that after so many weeks or months I have to stop for a few months because my elbows get so stiff. Any advice? Also, have you ever used obsidian balls? How do they compare to the metal/chrome balls like what you use in this video?
don't keep your elbow sticking to your body, and don't tense it. the elbow should be away from the body, the balls being about two feet away from the chest or stomach. while sitting down, rest the elbow on a thick pillow on the lap or the knee to keep the spine straight. while walking, have the balls as high as the navel, having the elbow relaxed. I suggest that you use lighter baoding balls and also use basic stretching and other forms of workout.
Great response @ravenhawkeagle5261.
Hi. This exercise is about your hands, not your elbows. So, you can try to support your elbows so that they are not getting irritated. A few suggestions: - support your elbows with a cushion on your lap when you're doing the exercises - try extending and contracting your arms (to open and close the elbow joint) as you're doing the baoding balls. This can help get synovial fluid flowing through your elbow joint, which can help to keep that joint more mobile. - ice your elbows after you use baoding balls - try doing baoding balls lying down, with both arms to your side, with r hands lying by your side. Let me know if any of these suggestions help!
@@JamberHands would love to see another one of these videos maybe with slightly more difficult exercises or just a more in depth video on them. love what your doing man keep it up !
Merry Christmas to your family and God bless❤❤❤
Thanks!
Hey, your content is great. Suggestion, clearly state where you ship to at the top of the shop page, rather than people going through the process of shopping, to find out, there is no ship to not-canada or not-amerika. Cheers, again for the content.

It is our pleasure Adam. Keep up the good fight!
Heroes!
Thanks.
Do you wash the tool after each use? Getting ready to use it first time. Love the mug!
Hi Dianne, I personally don't wash the massager tool until it gets particularly oily. However, there's no problem with washing it everyday if you like. Just allow it to dry.
The Jamber cup is the best!
Thanks Cheryl!
