It is custom build yes, but you will find a lot of different claviorganum in music history. Händel/monteverdi/Haydn/Prætorius etc.

As a musician I think: you can't do better than that... As an architect I think: you have to be able to do it better ;-) at least the very complex conversion where each coupling pin has to be inserted individually by hand...
in fact, my specifications that I imposed on my organ builder were complex: At least -two 8’ including one open stop -a 16' reed -a 2cl/ped organ capable of playing all the repertoire up to Mendelssohn -transportable and passing through 70cm doors -easy to tune -convertible into a claviorganum -and most importantly: it should sounds like a large organ and not like a chest organ …my organ builder had a few sleepless nights:):)
you can do better ... but not much... maybe move the cable drum out of sight ? ;-)
I have never seen such a convincing integration of harpsichord and (small) organ (couplers, pedal, etc.) and such wonderful music played to perfection... how lucky we are that, apart from all the hate speech and internet trolls, videos like this are accessible to everyone a huge thank you to the players, organ and harpsichord builders and everyone involved I know: "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" ;-) but - please how much (approximately) does such an instrument cost?

It’s sure a real cost, I bought the harpsichord in 2007 and the organ for a few years ago, but I never played so many concerts before. Many ensembles need a good instrument to play the basso continuo. A good way to pay for the investment. Anyway, if you contact me on PM, I can give you the price:)

Great balance. Listened on a good pair of neutral headphones. Thoroughly enjoyed your phrasing and timing. Contrast of the Lautenwerk and the 8 foot was wonderful. Mark P.S. Just read the comments of the other person. I cannot understand this way of thinking.
I prefer this played on the pipe organ, for which it was composed. Here, the Cantus Firmus (CF) is too loud, and the strings of the "lautenwerke" stop of the hybrid harpsichord-organ instrument insufficient to harmonically support the CF. While this instrument is rather novel and beautiful in other performances, here, it does not do musical justice to such a stupendous Bach Chorale.
The lautenwerk is played with the principal 8’ of the organ.

I: bourdon 8, flute 4, dessus de Quinte, principal 2’, régale 16/8 II: principal 8 All the stops in bass/descant I/P8’ I/P4’ IIP/8’ II/P4’ Very soon it will be added a pedal extension with a reed 16/8/4 in swell:)

Thank you so much! You will find recordings with better sound on my channel. Vivaldi/Balbastre for example are recorded with very good mics. I just used my phone for this recording.
May I suggest you get a 2nd or 3rd camera to record the keyboard and pedals and have those camera somewhere that doesn't hide too much the instrument like where the title was and o top-left?
Someday, but I use the most of my money on instrument, not on camera:)
