Pleasing video. I have to wonder how it works logistically.. does it go on patrol or a mission (Like to look of a water based crash site or similar) after it is going to an attack back to base for a maintenance once over and they send out a fresh one. or do they just send the original one back. One has to wonder is the Mother sub equipped with a landing craft and a security detail etc.. In case a UFO lands on an atoll or small isolated island in the pacific somewhere. Or does she have a sister sub with no interceptor but with a separable mini landing assault vehicle (perhaps an amphibious one with wheels ! Maybe called Ground Diver or something like that.

Just wish they would reboot the series but done properly, it would be a fitting Tribute to the Late Great Gerry Anderson. Who made our childhood Totally Amazing. Godspeed Gerry 🙏 🙏

I just discovered this show a year ago, although it came out decades before I was born. Really the best & most-fun campiness, and surprisingly interesting character-driven stories. Too bad like most serials / episodic shows, it never fully committed to a proper overall arc and finale, once the end was looming. Just kinda fizzled out.

Look at all that soot on the landing platform. You got to readjust your air intake. Your mixtures to it's rich.

Something you might want to add in the future. Sky 1 needs to be refueled & rearmed before reattaching to Diver 1.

Nice one. Sat watching this while also looking at my Product Enterprise Skydiver model, those were the days, brilliant series.

I'm 50 and got to see re-runs of The Thundebirds here in the US and loved it, but wish I got to see this show too. Seems awesome!

It's still very good! Nice to see Sky One using its four cannons. Another fun one would be Skydiver using other weapons than Sky One to attack UFOs... Sub-to-air missiles, surface guns, torpedos.

This CGI is absolutely fantastic! I'm a lifelong UFO/Skydiver/SkyOne fan, so I can really appreciate your work here. Not that I won't offer a few well-meant critiques... You know, for future updated versions! I'd clarify that what's portrayed here is the more elaborate docking procedure that's required in certain instances. Following normal missions -- sea and fighter conditions permitting -- Sky One can redock underwater without external equipment. Some UFO episode scripts included the statement, "Sky One has redocked with Skydiver". Also, there were some references to "Replacement Sky One". In "Ordeal" , as Col. Foster pilots Sky One toward some unmentioned SHADO base, he looks out to the right and we see the replacement Sky One headed opposite direction. Skydiver transmits, "Roger. Commencing redocking procedure." But YES, when the fighter needs rearmament or maintenance, or when sea conditions are too rough, this magnificent Skydiver-tender ship is excellent for the job. (SHADO SkyTender?) VTOL. OK, there was at least one episode ("The Long Sleep") in which Sky One seemed to hover. Separately, in "A Question Of Priorities", Capt. Carlin is ordered to go ashore to command the Mobile Recon group, which he does. Thereafter we see "Replacement Sky One" (SID's words) blast off from Skydiver to do an interception as ordered. So we conclude that Carlin flew and landed Sky One in the Irish plains, perhaps using VTOL. However, a single ventral rocket nozzle would not allow any stability or control for a VTOL operation. I'd recommend four smaller gimballing nozzles in a rectangular pattern on the bottom... maybe also adding some small wingtip nozzles. Sky One flying low over the ocean surface, kicking up wake, is gorgeous! I know that the orange flames of the rocket boosters is a great visual, but in the various UFO episodes the boosters were never used for level flight. They were shown shutting down shortly after the launch from Skydiver UNLESS needed to propel Sky One quickly and directly into the upper stratosphere for a high altitude intercept (as in "Exposed"). Or, maybe not, keep it all as it is. It's truly fine work, much appreciated!

Thank you for creating work that gives a much bigger world for UFO fans old and new to live in and go on and create new stories, new effects. The effects are superb and beautifully written and executed with an eye on your what the original FX inspires.

All of Gerry Anderson's works are masterpieces, especially ``Captain Scarlet and The Mysterons''. play an active role in the story, It's a ``Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle,'' and I'd like to see a video of the ``caterpillar'' installed at the end of this awesome vehicle being put to good use. Because I've never seen it before. lol
