Had an issues of starting and stopping (burner flame). Was told by the manufacturer it was likely a faulty thermostat (I didn't think so). After a while of troubleshooting and jumping the thermostat wires the fuse burnt out. Found this video, turned off the power and tweaked the high limit switch (from the front of the unit as Michael stated below) with a paint stick. Replaced the fuse, all good. Not sure this was the actual fix, but it's running now.

Imagine a roll on roll off trike conversion that you can roll your front wheel onto and lock in place whenever you want to make your normal bike a trike like in winter weather for safety. Now that would be a smart kit!

I was frustrated for 3 days and nights...in my bike the female connector is between the air intake and some thick wires harnesses, very hard to see , THANKS TO THIS ANGEL"s that came to rescue me.. GRACIAS.

Nice bike! Going to look at a 98 today, 55k miles. Only minor detail is it snowed a bit overnight here in Montreal so a test ride may not be possible. Ride safe :)

That seems like the kick stand switch. You can test it by short ing the two yellow wires at the switch. The connector is by the alternator left side chrome cover

A simple 2 minute research would tell you what the colored dots mean. Instead you chose to make a 5 minute video spreading misinformation. It’s also amazing the number of tire shops that disregard these manufacturer markings, slap some weights on and shove ‘‘em out the door.

Congratulations on retirement. I just bought one of your conversions on a 2003 yellow Goldwing. I have a handful of questions so before you leave town and start really enjoying your new found freedom I will email you if that is Okay. Again Congratulations!

You can turn these into trikes, many have and I believe there was a company that specialized in them. Yes they take some work but I actually enjoy working on mine, I'm currently doing the clutch and rear engine seal. The engine does not have to come out, you just remove the rear engine mount bolt and tilt the frame up away from the engine. And by the way, the LT is way better than a Goldwing.

I would warn about disabling something that's supposed to be there. I had mine disabled and now I can't control the front end from diving too much especially at slow stops. Sometimes this can make the bike want to drop. It's a real pain not being able to come to a nice controlled stop.
