Hi Nicole, I love watching your channels! Especially Stitches. And I am just getting back into cross stitching and I was wondering...do you wash your Aida fabric before you use it? Everything I buy is so stiff that it's hard to get in the hoop. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you ❤

I’m working on a storm pattern of a Navajo Rug. It is much quicker to actually weave one than cross stitch it! 🤪

Your Halloween house is going to be so fun. I like your idea of using the buttons you found. I love Christmas in the Cabin too. Leave the wreath off and stitch a few snowflakes in the sky. I'm working on ornaments for xmas in July. Just enjoy what you're doing.

I see you are using the vintage metal hoops. I have purchased a few different sizes at local thrift shops and really like them. I like the floss you are using for your haunted house. Christmas At the Cabin is very pretty. I have been very slack this summer and not touched any of my stitching. Would like to finish my Prairie Schooler Santa with snow shoes UFO soon. Will be my first finish of one. HAPPY STITCHING !!

Yay! You’re back! Love your WIPs - especially the Halloween, and the Santa with the bunnies. It’s been a slow summer for stitching for me, too, but I got an order yesterday that included floss organizers as well as rings to attach them to, so my kits will be easier to manage, and I’ll begin to make up for lost time. I love mushroom patterns too. I’m excited to see the free SAL through Owl Forest Embroidery starting May 1st…. It is mushroom based. I’ve been to Stitchville to gather things up on my wishlist before they close. I’ll have to do a detour to Blue Earth (2 hours) sometime on my way down to Ames where our oldest lives. Hi Nicole! I just came upon your channel and have now subscribed! I really enjoyed watching today. Your Easter egg napkin rings are so creative! 👏🏻. They look great on your vintage table cloth! Also loved your birds nest with 3 blue eggs. I have also finished a similar one with a Robin, called “ Spring’s Messenger” that I stitched in memory of my oldest granddaughter “ Robin”. I stitch a lot of patterns with birds! 🕊️ 😁 I look fwd to your next video!! Cheers! 🧑🏻‍🦰🇨🇦🌻

I bought some linen once for cross stitching, took one look and “ran” back to my Aida cloth! I love the look of your nest and eggs, but I just can’t see well enough to stitch on linen!

I like your idea of finishing the mushroom piece under a cloche and look forward to seeing it when it’s done! I’m also looking forward to seeing your sampler and the jack rabbit FFOd. You’re more ambitious than me as I can only handle one WIP at a time!
