Feels like they went with more muted and "dark" colors on the new edition to mimic the feel of it being rainy, misty, and overcast because of the rain cloud.

This is a great book. I have spent a lot of time having adventures in my head.

I used to play that back in the early 80s. Haven't seen a copy of that in a very long time.

Rules explanation was not great for this one, but I think I got it in the end. The central hex can not be taken I assume?

63.5x88 will fit 1st edition...so if the cards are the same size in 2nd edition ur good to go....

A few years before my time. I started playing RPGs in 1986 with the D&D Basic Set BUT I do recall seeing Gamma World (the third edition boxed set) at a shop and the cover art was enthrawlling to me. I still game! I played two sessions of my homebrew Basic/Expert D&D this past summer. I enjoyed hearing your reminiscenes!

It wasn’t perfect but Gamma World is still my favorite tabletop RPG. It would be great if WoTC brought it back with a new edition.

That is a copy of the first edition of Gamma World.

Nice. This one would be considered a simplistic one today. Quite easy to analyze and min-max everything you need.

Wow, that was some of the most unfortunate and unlucky die rolling I have ever seen. I would have switched my die halfway through 😅😂 Thanks for the playthrough. There is a Kickstarter for these two plus the 3rd day (Picketts Charge) going on right now. Not sure there is any actual strategy or tactics to this game. Attack the weakest unit group doesn't count as strategy😊. What do you think?

Most likely not a true first edition 1. The illustrations are a lot smaller than they would have been in a true first 2. The preface and the other pages shown are in a typeface never found in a genuine first edition 3. What is up with the copyright page it should be alot bigger 4. the text is completely different on the last page of stave one Thus not a true first edition

One of the guys who made this game was in a Meier & Frank department store back in the 90's. He was selling them. I still see a listing for Terrace on sale at a few stores.

Unfortunately, you have an older facsimile of the first edition of A Christmas Carol. The original first edition had a Cinnamon colored cloth cover on the boards. Also, the title page as shown is not in the same format (size) as the original. I hope you did not pay very much for this as it is just a facsimile. It could be an older facsimile, but it is unfortunately, not an original first edition. If you did pay a lot for this and it was advertised to you as an original, I would contact the seller as soon as possible. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news my friend.

I think you only had 15 points instead of 16 for what it's worth. Isn't Trajan's Market 1 x your lowest resource and not 1 + your lowest resource?

I'm not sure what you have here, but the binding is wrong it's bright red, the original is brown. It also has 'ghose' of an idea not 'ghost'. This is not a first edition. I hope you did not pay much for this.

A tough game, but this one was down to the wire. I think attacking Hougoumont early was a good play, and i'm wondering: What if you just kept the pressure on the English right, and go for the reserves. Leave the 1st corp to hold the english, so that way the prussians are less likely to attack (assuming it doesn't take many casualties). This way, you can hopefully just avoid La Haye Sainte.

I just got this card game. I really enjoyed your play through & playing yourself as the vampire. I enjoyed your explanation of the cards in play. It helped a lot. I can't wait to start playing my deck.

But i wonder if you can do a combinated attack with artillery support on HOUGOUMONT because artillery can't attack a farm...And a second question : imperial gard is an infantery so i think is impossible to use it as support on an other infantery; I don't untersdant why the rules dont give a bonus on the imperial gard, as you say she was the best unit in europe ! Is it a brtish game no ? 😄 I like also the game, too bad the last 6.... May be the next time french troops will win ! Have a nice day

Wow I live in Quebec City and I was born in Cap-Rouge. I totally know about this battle, as they teach it to us at school in history classes. I know all these places mentioned in the game but I didn't even know about this game ! I'm so getting this game right now as a Quebecer !!! Thanks for sharing this.
