Hatashita Link: bit.ly/3BlJAJ6 The end of a 10 year chapter, here, at Lin Martial Arts. My home since day one. Martial arts has been something that I can only describe as, illuminating. It illuminated the flaws that I was blind to, weakness that I was consciously trying to avoid. Most importantly, the power I had inside my being that I under estimated. BJJ Black Belt Training | Advanced Techniques

NEW WEBSITE! www.stasisjiujitsu.com/ Instead of going to class and sparring aimlessly, it is important to break down sparring into fragments so that they become repeatable drills. In this video, I show a simple drill where one person starts on the bottom and the other standing. The end result is to go until either person gets swept/submitted or passed. Most of Jiu Jitsu happens within this part...

Today's video is slightly different than usual. Here in Ontario, Canada, we have been going through so many lockdowns that it really makes it difficult to schedule the filming of our videos. This is why we have had such separation between our videos lately. However, this is what inspired this topic: Kettlebell Training! I am a big believer in supplementing your training with weight training, bu...
BJJ Black Belt Showing Escapes

No Attacker Will Ever Headlock You Again!
had to look up a video on how to do this properly because i missed a step and didnt pull him down and i didnt put my upper body over his head... so basically im at home now with a busted tongue
I can only imagine what passersby who've never been inside a dojo think when they look inside and see a class in progress. Lol
"What in the hell is even that!"
Old video at this point but what about the thumb?
To be honest, the thumb is a difficult one to tape from what I have seen. My recommendation would be to tape it your palm. May not be the most pretty but it gets the job done.
You'll get the tap at the bar??? Lol nice video
Seems easier to set up than a standing darce
That's probably true, but it's easier to set up from standing than a darce. Unless you have long, thin arms to easily secure a figure 4
Hey me and my friends wrestle/grapple during school(we don’t go to hard) I tried to do a standing guillotine but it failed but this really helped
What do you do if they grab your nuts?
Thank You!!!
My pleasure!
Thanks for the video. Ring finger.
How long should you hold the squeeze ? And should u do it in sets like 3 or 2 sets
That's the great part of this. There is no hard rule on it. Work your way up from a low, less intense squeeze/set and gradually work up! Consistency is more important than intensity. Do it every day or every other day and see how you feel. Hope this helps!
YOUR BALLS, are open, how
1:51 walls
Great points thanks
Hockey tape. Yes that might be bit cheaper than jujitsu tape. Think its quite similar. Not taped up my stick 🏒 in decades
What abt if you have an arm in? Can you still finish it standing?
Is this the one John jones did?
I literally lost this position once because of not locking the elbow Respect 🫡
I'm a novice, is the gi right or left handed
I broke my fingerafew weeks ago and tape has not been protecting me, but just tried your way to wrap and it is SO MUCH better, thanks a ton!
John Danaher's RNC barely uses a squeeze at all. He's using the Rhomboid Major to pull the shoulderblade towards the spine and this method is way stronger. I tested his RNC method and even without much grappling experience, I can tap people over their chin with 2 hands inserted over the chin.
"looks like you're caressing his neck". "come on, I am trying to do a serious martial arts video"
What bag is it? thank you for your video.
My favorite choke holds are Guillitine Leg bar Crucifix Knee press choke
We all got that one guy around us rn huh?😂
I saw this from the Jon Jones fight and came to learn it here
I've lost a guillotine so many times because I always did a gable grip and I could never get the torque I needed to get the tap, I'm definitely gonna try with this grip next time
One thing that really struck me about what khabib said is he's always engaging his leg muscles to keep them pinned especially in mount. Having tried it, it's a really weird muscle that's working and I would say unless you've trained it for a very long time. They will tire fast or not be strong enough to grip the opponent
Dgaf about you hydrating
Thanks for this video. Could you please tell me if it's possible for the opponent to punch your groin in this move or is it to fast and painful? Thanks
😂 another soy boy who doesn’t train martial arts and is trying to hide his insecurity of not being able to fight by telling himself he can punch a dude in the dick in a street fight and win
M this is a very good video. I am a greybelt. I use this in a tournament I won.
Say goodbye to your balls 😉
Great Judo!
Love it. Thank you!
Wearing a ring on the mat? Yowza 😳
I like to live dangerously
@@stasisjiujitsuandyoga of course 😆
High elbow works better for the choke.
It's definitely a good variation
what if someone hooks ur liver or knees it?
They will be to focused on the choke
Trust me, when you’re getting choked out, you’re going to focus on ripping the arm off you from the choke, now yes they’re humans who’re willing to do more logical things while being choked like trying to scratch your eyes out, or whatever they can to cause you pain to let go, but 99% of people are instinctively going to act the same way, and that’s them panicking as they get choked unconscious
As a taekwondo fighter, when young I did this to a JJ fighter by "accident" while spraw when he shot to get my legs, we where both inexperienced, I had no idea what to do lmao. It actually worked really well
This technique is very high percentage
I read some statistics that the ring finger is the weakest finger and stands for 75% of all serious single finger accidents. That's a disproportionate amount and definitely deserves some taping love if you'll only tape one!
I had no idea!
making sure to teach this to my good friend mo-mi!
My grandma didn’t stand a chance Thanks
merab dvalishvilli lookalike
Can you do it in normal speed while your opponent tries to move away?
By normal, do you mean not as intense and aggressive?
@@stasisjiujitsuandyoga I think he means he wants to see it full speed and with more resistance by your training partner, so he can see how to make it work against a resisting opponent.
gonna try landing this on my cousin
We need more of this content 😂
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I dunno anyone else, but if a dude ever puts me in a streetfight guillotine I'm kneeing or uppercutting his balls first and then I'll do the evasive moves... if it's a woman, then she getting hit in the solar plexus or getting a strong experience with my manfu-claw down in her nether region.
Fundamental technique! Thank you!
My pleasure! I'm happy it helped you
I do that abductor machine too. Thanks for the video sir! I haven't trained in awhile but want to maintain some of that squeeze strength. I'll be doing this!
Fantastic! Embrace it, my friend
@@stasisjiujitsuandyogaStarted back training bro! Will be adding this for sure now. Thanks again man.
My pleasure
It's sad that I have had to do this. Did my best to diffuse, guy threw a wide right at me and I caught it with my left and had his arm locked, went into guillotine, and then dropped his forehead into the ground and was on top. Game over. Always diffuse and walk away if you can.
Grandpa won't stand a chance if i pull this off
How bout one more bonus? Lol. Good stuff. Thank you.
Haha, thank you! There's more coming soon
